Hmm, well now you got my curiosity running. i recently had a guy come to my forum and post about his band Leviathan. now your friend, did he play for the Black Metal band Leviathan that is in my list or perhaps this other band that got posted on my board?

ah! nevermind. i found the band that he was a part of. a band based out of Colorado right? i might check them out anyway but the one in my list is a one man Black Metal project.

Yea, if your a band who caught the turn of the decade when Nirvana and Pearl Jam came out then you got lost in the musical rubble. if you can get me some of their material than i would gladly accept them. i can also play them on the air sometimes even though they no longer play together. thanks for the info man.

I just popped the Gorillaz self-titled CD from a few years ago in last night. Forgot how good, and fun, that album was. That'll be getting some serious play. Also have been listening to a lot of Weezer to gear up for their new album which is coming out (I believe) April 29th. Possibly May. Not sure.

I got a pic of Ed & I somewhere on one of the post your pic threads....I wish they'd come back out East, but it doesn't look like it for the forseeable future anyways

How many emo kids does it take to screw in a light bulb?

None, let the little bastards whine in the dark!

That said, I actually like some emo. Meh.

Nuggets,

I can/could listen to some of it, if 93.789% didn't sound teh exact SAME!

I love it when emo tries to be all hardcore - and they scream and throw some chunk in the guitar, and yet they still sound gay.

Agreed 100%. The stuff I like is technically considered emo, but I do'nt really understand why. Jimmy Eat World? I guess their early stuff could be emo, but the last two albums (Bleed American/Jimmy Eat World and Futures) don't seem emo to me. No screaming, just singing and actually some songs are happy!

I like modest mouse - but not ALL their catalog. I like the guitar chords and some of the playfulness on the lyrics - but sometimes i'm just not into it, but i consider them emo too.

I'd consider jimmy eat world emo -

I spent a whole weekend listening to ****ty emo and i'm venting. Damn them!
