Anyone heard anything about Tegan & Sara? I keep hearing a lot of hype about them, but haven't heard them. Wondering if anyone here has heard them.

BTW, I'm running late now, but I'll try to post some about the Mars Volta album tonight.

I've heard good things about kings of leon. I believe they will be opening for U2 on their tour.

I'm listening to Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots -The Flaming Lips.

the kings of leon are pretty cool - i dig 'em -

a bit of southern stoner rock, but that's not a bad thing IMO -

also i never heard robert johnson before, and IMO he's the best guitar player i ever heard.

Anyone ever hear of "Boy hits Car?"

Listening to them now, I dig their style.

I like it a lot too. It's his catchiest (and probably best) album since Odelay. Damn infectious.

I saw Love & Rockets on the Earth,Sun,Moon tour and came away liking them much more than I did before...then the self-titled album came out and I was like yeech.....some were comparing "So Alive" to Lou Reed, what the hell were they thinking?!?

What Agent Orange ya got spinning there SoDak? I always loved the surf/Mod thing they did.

Just saw VH1's "Storytellers" last night starring Green Day talking about "American Idiot".....I forgot how good that album is. That got bumped up. I'm also enjoying the Tegan & Sara album "So Jealous". It's nothing but pop music, but it's good pop music. If anyone's curious, I'd check out "Walking With A Ghost" or "Where Does The Good Go?".

Also, a lot of Mitch Hedberg because of his untimely passing.

Boulevard is getting burnt out for me....too much air play. Although I did hear a mix-up yesterday where someone combined it with Oasis' "Wonderwall". Thought that was pimp.

I still have a hard time listening to Nirvana's "Nevermind" album because of overplay on radio.
