System of a Down's new single "Cigaro" -- http://radio.gamemilitia.com/
You gotta love it when a song's first line is: "My cock is much bigger than yours. My cock can walk right through the door." |

That single is bad ass...I cant wait for their new album to hit the shelves...System's been a great band since they came out, and I especially enjoy the fact that they acknowledge their Armenian heritage any chance they get...Last year on April 24th(89th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide), they played a concert here in LA at the Greek Theatre and the shows proceeds aided organizations urging the United States Congress to follow nations such as France and Canada in recognizing the Armenian genocide, in which an estimated 1.5 million people died at the hands of the Ottoman Empire during World War I. Being Armenian myself, I take great pride in my heritage and I'm glad that since System have been HUGE in the music industry, they still represent... ![]() |

I just got the 1997 charity concert: Music for Montserrat. I'm usually bored by these types of concerts in which you have all these washed out chumps playing Beatle songs together but this one is extraordinary.
Knopfler plays a stunning version of Brothers in Arms among other highlights. |

Just downloaded:
Scarface - Greatest Hits DJ Whoo Kid & 50 Cent - G-Unit Radio 10 Mixtape (Before The Massacre 2050) The mixtape is alright, getting hyped for the new 50. The Scarface CD impressed me, as I had never heard anything by him before. |

Yeah, it was always a great song to play when first getting a band together and on the same page...I seem to remember always doing that one, Black Flag's "Six Pack" and Agent Orange's "Bloodstains" amongst others......I really miss that era, it was a lotta fun. |

I'm familiar with GEMM and have delt with them in the past Ames.......the problem was that my experience with them wasn't the best to say the least. Hopefully, it was an isolated incident.....the selection is great and I don't wanna discourage anyone at all....but beware the vinyl ![]() |

Still listening to the Ateyu CD, but I have 2 new bands that I've been into lately: 36 crazyfists and Guilt By Association.
36 crazyfists is some metal from Alaska, not the hard double bass screaming lungs out metal but harder than most rock out there. GBA is some pretty deep metal, and I can't to go see them in March ![]() |
