PFW: Broncos could look to add a running back
No brainer, considering how Fox likes to have two good running backs. I would be fine with them starting as early as #36 to fine a runner to pair with Moreno. Who are some of your favorite prospects at the RB position? |

Not in rounds 1 or 2. But I'd like Carter out of Syracuse in rd 3. Helu out of Neb has nice measurables for round 4, but I hate Nebraska and therefore haven't seen him. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they took Evans out of VaTech in the 6th if he's still there.
But they have knowsho and burkhalter, which is more than they have at most positions. |

my two sleepers are Delone Carter- this dude will ball!
And I like Graig Cooper...There are other good backs with sexy skills and 230lbs who run a 4.4- but............ I feel like Cooper- who is much faster than his .40 at combine shows is a 100% perfect fit for our ZBS. and would be a nice change up to knowshon. And Delone is like MJD...This guy, I have really high hopes for. Been pimping his ass all offseason. Strait up man beast. but at 5'8- he will be available mid rounds, possibly ufda. |

The current RB roster is:
Lance Ball Buckhalter Kyle Eckel Jeremiah Johnson Maroney Mike McLaughlin Knowshon Lendale Pretty thin. That's another reason to explore trading down from #2 to accumulate draft picks. |

Who is going to trade up to get #2.... easy for everyone to keep saying trade down, but you need a trading partner.

Hell no don't trade down but you could get rid of all those guys and I could care less. While I would prefer getting another RB in free agency (and not Williams) I'd rather they use the 1 offense pick I'm giving them in the draft for a RB rather than a QB. But would rather pick up a TE or T than a RB.

If Kendall Hunter, Mikel Leshoure, or the kid from Va Tech slip into the third, I think you have to strongly consider it. Especially if we've gone front seven heavy with 1st, 2A, and 2B.

It's going to be a difficult choice if Mark Ingram is still there with our second round pick. With "not so stellar" track numbers, he could possibly slide to the second. Not likely, but a realistic possibility.

I wouldn't mind drafting Dion Lewis, RB, Pittsburgh in the later rounds.
I think he is being undervalued in this draft. |

Newsflash: Denver looking to acquire more wins in 2011.
It's that time of year... But that said, I expect Denver to draft a running back in the mid to late rounds. |

The first time I saw him, I was sure he'd be a 1st rounder. His stocked has dropped considerably, but that kid can make people miss in tight spaces. I wouldn't be upset at all if we ended up with him sometime after the 3rd.

I don't want a running back in the first 2 rounds, but from the 3rd and after there should be some good players available. If Leshoure, Ryan Williams, Derrick Locke, Kendall Hunter, Shane Vereen, or Noel Devine end up being a Bronco I would be happy with it.

Yep....during his freshman year, I thought he was a sure-fire first round pick.
