Default Were LT, Tippet, and DT weakside LBs or strongside?

There have been some great pass rushing LBs from 4-3 defenses. My question is, if we did draft Von Miller, he would be our weakside linebacker, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weakside backers don't have to deal with TEs so they would be able to get the QB the fastest out of all the LBs. The SAM would have to deal with the TE before he got to the QB and be able to drop back in coverage as well.

So I would have to assume that Lawerence Taylor, Andre Tippet, and Derrick Thomas were all weakside backers.

Someone clear this up.
