Not quite. He did not get into the NFL because he refused to play anything other than QB while coincidentally being black. Good career regardless.

“I think it’s absurd,” Nawrocki said. “I mean, anybody that is familiar with the publication, you can go back and look at what was said about [Notre Dame quarterback] Jimmy Clausen. It was some of the same things. He came across as very scripted and disingenuous in interviews. . . . We treat every player the same. We’re just trying to get to the end result. . . . Evaluate the character and get the evaluation right. I think the best evaluators in the NFL are colorblind in their assessments, and we treat it the same way. We’re not trying to take shots at anybody. It’s all about getting the evaluations right.”

Being adopted and knowing nothing about what race I am lets me hate them all equally as well

But race is stupid , It's not like you pick it , and I find it hard to hate anyone for something that was just dumb luck , as in what race you was born.

I agree it SHOULDNT play a factor in any decision making or perception of another human being, but youre out of your mind if you think people don't skew view due to race. I have zero doubt we'd look at Newton differently if he were white.

Racism as an embedded institutional problem in this country interests me at the highest level. Warren Moon's personal view of the Cam Newton thing is of little to no interest to me, and your transparent attempts to bait me are of even less interest.

His smile, really? No one criticizes Cam Newton for anything other than the fact that you can't rely on pure athleticism in the NFL and the system he comes out of isn't conducive to being a success.

If Michael Vick can't rely on pure athleticism then no one can. Vick is finally on his way to becoming a real threat, but it took a lot of humility for it to happen. If Newton wants to be successful, he needs to have a good, long chat with Vick.
