I know we have all seen most of this footage before, but look at the last couple of minutes around (6.40 ), it has some extra clips from the chargers game i havent seen
in any other highlight video........ Its actually a really good video, but the part that sticks out to me is the O-lines fire to defend tebow, i know it was vs the chargers which are bitter rivals, but this is 3 games in to TT starting, you dont get that type of emotion from the WHOLE O-LINE for just anyone. I have never seen the o-line get that fired up when orton was hitting the dirt....... Tebow is gonna start for us and win a bunch of games, i can just feel it! Lastly, i can remeber hearing TEBOW TEBOW TEBOW from the crowd late in the game when we still had a chance of comming back. it was comming out of my speakers at home loud and clear i remeber thinking to myself, i cant think of the last time a players name was chanted like that at invesco, can you? It's too bad tebow is a Christian. Otherwise him being a leader of men and a great qb prospect would be exciting. Why does he have to be so nice? It's too bad, really.

Mine either. He is part of an evil organization. His charity work is just a cover to hide his true evil intentions. He must be stopped.

It's really annoying. I mean, how am I as a fan supposed to get behind this guy? I mean I know he had a huge comeback, and almost had another one two weeks later in two of his three starts. I know he outperformed our starter and the team actually scored more points with a lame duck headcoach.
Like I said, it's too bad he's a nice guy. |

As long as a player isn't committing crimes off the field, my only interest is what they do on the field.

It is easier on the OL to look good and gain confidence when a QB can side step or outrun one of their mistakes.

I don't get why people wouldn't want Tebow to start for us this season.
Preface: I'm not saying he's going to be great. I hope he is, but only time will tell. I'm not going to sit here and say I know for sure he is our franchise's future. But we're in rebuild mode, and anybody denying that is crazy. I'd be fine with Orton as the veteran if this were a playoff team or even a borderline playoff team, but we're just not. No draft picks or FA signings is going to change that in one shortened offseason. Period. I think a lot of the anti-Tebow guys think that Orton somehow provides us with this chance to win a lot of ballgames. He doesn't. Here's the thing: I would never tell somebody not to be optimistic. Be optimistic, wear the orange glasses with pride. But at some point we have to face reality. We're going nowhere next season, and IMO that means we need to let the kid play and see what we have. I just really don't see any point in starting Orton at all. |

I don't find any virtue in supporting a Colorado Springs organization that glorifies animal and child abuse, but off-the-field issues aside, I agree that Tebow is more fun to watch than Orton - or just about any other QB. I can see why any teammate would be fired up around him.
