Isn't this kinda disrespectful to the QB's already on the roster?

"Elway tried to make clear that he’s not second-guessing the decision-making process that led to the Broncos sending Cutler packing."
This is Broncos not Bears. Let it go. |

In January, two days before the NFC title game, Elway talked about Cutler at length for 87.7 The Ticket in Denver.
Asked by a radio station host if Cutler would still be a Bronco if he were in charge at the time, Elway said, “There’s a good possibility, yeah. “I would say that. But I don’t know. I wasn’t in the middle of that. I didn’t know Jay real well. “But I would have done everything I can, especially when you have a talent like you have in Jay. Those guys don’t come around very often.” On Tuesday, Elway said he didn’t remember that comment. Oh, crap......looks like Bowlen's short term memory loss and dementia are contagious guys. |

Sooo, he doesn't remember saying that originally, then goes on to say he doesn't know WHAT he would have done because he didn't know all the circumstances, then goes on to say he'd take rodgers over cutler.
the phrase grasping at straws comes to mind |

Sigh, why is he even talking about Cutler. Just let that crap go. Dude's a quitter and we don't need any more of those here in Denver.
