Wow. The ignorance of parenting is rather stunning. Are you a parent?

You're still claiming that biology is destiny. It is not. A man can nurture just as well as a woman - and women have no motherly "instinct". Ask any mom if she knew automatically, without thought or consideration, how to take care of a newborn. They don't. It's learned.

The football analogy falls flat.

Because of this thread. They tracked you down at your work and sent out memos?

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! Holy Santa Claus ****! That is awesome if true. Someone here got touchy enough over an internet thread, a bad one at that, to track someone down and go after them at work.

Man, the world we live in.
IEI has a very vivid imagination and apparently not much regard for the truth.

And that about sums up this thread. FAIL.

I am a parent. A single parent.

Tell me oh wise one- which is more natural throughout time:

1-Man and woman and child

2-man and man and child

3-women and women and child
------------------------------------------------------
Answer- You failed

Next- No one said a man can not nurture as much as a female or visa versa. Infact, I have said exactly what you said 4 times now already. Before you answer, I think you should read. It will really help you

Now, and this is my favorite part..."women have no motherly insinct" LMAO- dude- seriously, do you think before you type? I do not think we need to delve any further into that beauty. It stands all on its own. lol

Last but not least. The football analogy is pretty dam relevant. Perhaps you lack the imagination to understand it. After this Amazing last response, I am starting to question that too. However, if you can not tell the difference between what comes naturally to people and what is learned then there is nothing more to say. As no one is going to be able to get you to understand this simple concept. So either you are trying to dodge and deflect or you seriously do not know and can not understand the difference. If that is the case, then this thread is over. If you can respond without deflecting then we can try and continue. But now I am starting to see what OABB was saying after all this time.

My Mane experience: Cautionary tale because you are being monitored!!!

I work for a big company. Actually I work for several companies. One has a lot of people from the ffice:smarttags" />Denver area originally. For years I’ve heard about this great forum site the Orange Mane.

I heard it was a popular place to exchange ideas. Then the other day a memo went up at work. Apparently there was some HR sensitivity issued because someone on the site was in a debate about heterosexual parents vs. homosexual parents.

The building has many different ethnic, political, and sexual orientations as it is a huge company. Like most huge companies their number one fear is lawsuits. The Orange Mane conversation somehow made it to HR, who was afraid that a lawsuit may erupt if the workplace was disrupted.

It actually spawned great conversation at work. My homosexual co-workers are more pro hetero then I ever imagined. I came on here, immediately had to get in on the conversation and tons of threads later I was hooked on all of you.

Next thing I knew my ISP was flagged!!!

Problem was I pissed off the wrong guy. I guess “baja” has friends who are moderators. Give the guy credit if he can kill freedom of speech in America! They messaged me as such and I was warned for attacking his un-American belief that a soldier diving on a grenade is the same as the dog from “Something About Marry” diving out the window after a ball. It also appears that a soldier who gave his life is less brave than Pippa Baca getting killed for running around the middle east hitch hiking in a wedding dress and openly sticking her middle finger to the Islamic world.

Like I said my ISP was flagged. The good news is I now know exactly which people on the site work in my company. The bad news is it means that everyone on here is at risk, if you say something someone else doesn’t like, to being tracked and persecuted.

I informed my boss who initially said “screw them were huge no one could find out who one guys is”. I guess HR disagreed. My boss informed me that I’m not to come on here anymore since cowards who hide behind their keyboards track others for the exchange of ideas.

May your stay on the site, should you choose to do so, be joyful as the last few days have been for me. However, you may want to reconsider staying if you’re being tracked at all times.

In closing I stand behind what I said. My ideas were mine and mine alone but in our modern world trying to have a conversation isn’t worth losing a job. Look at the economy, I already have six jobs just to get by. I’d ask if they realize more of my posts came from home than from work but I know they already have that information.

Who says censorship is dead! Careful what you type you’re being tracked!!!

Hopefully OABB is next!

Okay, that's interesting and there is ample evidence to support that. Many anthropological studies show that these things are learned. But that than leads to modeling. I believe for this "discussion" we are talking about the majority populations of humans and not exceptions, or anomalies in those populations. As the majority which is considered the mean or "norm" is heterosexual than those parenting behaviors are taught by the heteros.

So these gay parents that everyone is mentioning who would be such great parents, by and large were raised and then learned their good parenting from hetero parents. Many seem to forget that these mentioned gay parents had hetero parents.
And to say that these gay parents could have had gay parents is to miss the point and argue the idiotic.
just some things to consider.

Depending on where you work, and in most places, your activity on the internet is consistently monitored, whether you like to believe it or not. Which is why it was absolutely idiotic of that poster to spew what he was from his place of work.

Sorry, nobody is to blame but you for the content you have posted. You should know better than to engage in such behavior. Such discussions are considered inappropriate in the work place between co-workers, why would the standard change to online communication?

There are simply certain things you do not do.

It is no wonder they've had to go through name changes.
