A transexual neo-nazi as a leftist socialist? Nobody should be surprised at that. Thats like a dream come true for the hard-left in America. I think thats what they all aspire to be.

Wouldn't a neo-nazi be a fascist?

No, neonazis are very much fascists. It is true that Hitler's national socialist party was founded on a socialist platform that was enacted in the mid 1930's to rebuild the German economy and infrastructure both of which were in tatters, but neonazis are much more in the direction of Moussolini than Hitler when it comes to politics.

Many of them don't even share Hitler's views on people of slavonic descent, much less his views on government control of industry.

Nazis calling themselves socialists is like North Korea calling itself the People's Republic.

The Nazis were definitely anti-capitalists. They thought capitalism was created by Jews.

They were also anti-communist, though I'm sure you'll have issues processing that given that you probably think communism is the same thing as socialism.

They were centerist fiscally, and extreme right socially.

I have to say, I'm not up on neo-nazism like some of the hard left wingers here. I know that Hitler was very much an anti-capitalist socialist that believed that the capitalist Jews were infiltrating his Aryan Germany.

Its funny how desperately American hard left wingers try to disassociate with Hitler now. They were all about him back before he invaded the Czechs. He was their prime example. Their golden boy. The progressive savior.

They were some of the main Eugenics movement progenitors, and were influenced by American racist Eugenicists like Margaret Sanger. Sanger wanted to "cleanse" American society from what she thought was useless riff-raff (that would be the poor, African Americans, Hispanics, gays, etc) and her method of carrying that out was Planned Parenthood and the Abortion industry. Hitler identified those same elements, mainly the Jews, and gassed them all. At least the Germans got rid of their genocide. America still clings to its Eugenics movement and calls it "womens reproductive rights". Pretty disgusting.

The Progressive movement that Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Obama proudly work for was born of genocide.

Look it up, folks.

The genocide part was wrong but they got a lot right. The sad thing is that no one learned that genocide is wrong and the world has been racked with outbreaks of genocide throughout eastern Europe and Africa to this day.

No reason we can't take the good things they accomplished and tweak them to make our country better rather than watch other countries killing millions because they pray or believe a little differently than someone else does.

Fascists -- both the Third Reich and Mussolini -- were disaffected socialists, existing far to the left of American politics. They were termed "right wing" by the same Soviets who labeled Trotsky right wing. The left wing and right wing were two wings of one movement -- their main disagreement was over the issue of worldwide worker revolution. The Moscow "communists" (actually socialists) believed the entire movement must be under the heel of the "soviets" (worker committees).

The fascists, while holding to essentially the same platform of government as the socialists/communist, believed in the preservation of the nation-state, and the separate culture of the people within the nation. For this, fascism was deemed a communist heresy, although a close varaint.

Fascism practiced and extreme form of collectivism, subjecting almost every freedom and dignity of the individual to "the State," to which he owed his highest sacrifice.

Fascism had absolutely no love for capitalism, free market economics, or the libertarianism of American conservatives.

Fascism did practice the "class theory" type approach of Marx, only (in Germany) it claimed it was the Jews who had managed to scarf all the money and capital. You can take Marx and substitute "Jew" for "capitalist" and you've got very much the same message.

It is a constant, repeating refrain of leftist rhetoric to contend that there is a certain class oppressing another, and that the oppressed class should rise up and take power and money away from the oppressors. Fascism always contained this.

Hitler was a man of the Left.

They can keep their Eugenic genocide policies (abortion), their social engineering based in elitism, and their love of the use of propaganda.

The biggest and irredeemable flaw of Progressivism is the desire to bring all things within the ambit of the state, the tendency to see government power is a irresistible agent to transform the culture.

It is fundamentally inconsistent with liberty.

I agree about that. I wish kids in Africa weren't, drugged, brainwashed, and taught how to kill friends and family with no quarter as well.
