Want to know what your car will run on in the future - Water!

http://www.blacklightpower.com/exec_summary.shtml
Electric cars powered by Catalyst Induced Hydrino Transition (CIHT) cells are expected to have a 1,500mi range using a liter of purified water. The water is first split into hydrogen and oxygen using electrolysis, then CIHT cells extract 200 times that amount of energy from the hydrogen atom to power the vehicle and charge its batteries.

In the meantime, I'll settle for a supercharged OHV V8 burning E85.

This won't be happening anytime soon. The amount of money needed would be crazy. Maybe in a downtown area like LA Live we'll see SOME **** like this just to wow people, but that's about it for the "near" future. If everyone things companies are going to make this technology affordable and accessible to everyone in 5-10 years (assuming it's remotely close to that by then) I'll be shocked.

I really want to believe this, I really do. But, my sister who is a chemist keeps telling me that the covalent bonds between oxygen and hydrogen are so strong that the process of electrolysis consumes more energy than you can extract from hydrogen once it is separated from the oxygen. It also requires energy to maintain the separation as hydrogen is naturally inclined to bond right back with the oxygen or anything else in the vicinity. I'm hoping they have cracked it. But, I have my doubts.

Your sister is right that burning hydogen or combining it in a fuel cell with oxygen releases the same energy as seperating it with oxygen through electolysis in the first place, minus losses in ineffeciencies and inability to recover all the energy reproduced. In that sense, hydrogen is only a battery for storing potential energy.

This hydrogen process is atomic, not chemical or nuclear, which is how it claims 200 times higher than chemical, but less than that from fusion. The process also creates, and thereby explains, dark matter that has baffled physicist, light emissions and heating in the Sun's corona, and peculuar energy output in lab experiments often described as cold fusion.

I should note the process disproves or rewrites parts of atomic and quantum physics theorized since after the days of Einstein. A new Theory of Classical Physics has been written in light of this discovery to replace Quantum Physics. This has caused many to disregard it as impossible, including Energy Secretary Steven Chu, but proof is proof and there has not been a viable explination that conforms to existing theories.

Huh, I guess I will have to investigate this further. And by investigate further, I mean browse a couple of pages, get bored, email it to my sister and ask her to decipher and tell me if it is BS or valid.

Great idea because we have an abundance of water
