DENVER (CBS4)- Former Denver Broncos Tight End Daniel Graham said that he would always be a Broncos fan, even after the franchise cut him on Wednesday. Graham was a team captain and is a Colorado guy through and through, from Thomas Jefferson High School to the University of Colorado and then the Broncos. He was scheduled to make more than $5 million, so he wasn’t surprised the team let him go. That didn’t make it any easier to tell his daughter. “She doesn’t understand that this is a business. I told her last night that Daddy no longer plays for the Denver Broncos. She cried, she was sad. She was sad because she can’t play with her friend anymore on Sunday at the football games,” said Graham. |

Well there is a video at link that has him saying he'll always be a Broncos fan, but I can't embed it, cause I don't understand this stuff.

Man if I wasn't computer retarded, I would post the video of that girl crying on American idol two years ago every time Sinjiya came on stage. That was classic and NO I don't watch the show- my wife just keeps him informed

This was signing that helped Shanny get fired. Glad it's over.

I'd be a fan of some business that paid me 20 million also. Hell I would come back and mow the lawn for free for life.

Graham seemed worth it when running game was good. But blocking specialists when team is getting 2.4 yrds a carry sort of get old after awhile.
With all the FA TE being signed up by there teams I think it's getting very likely Broncos select a TE in the draft. Maybe even in the 2nd round. |

Tough SOB who did the dirty work most TE's won't. He'll be missed, you can bet on it. We now have the worst TE's in the NFL, bar none. Richard Quinn is not a legit NFL starter by any stretch and unless we draft or get somebody in FA, we can effectively elimiante the position from the game plan now. I'm not saying he needed to stay at that salary, but it's just to bad he's going elsewhere. Class act all the way.

So long to Daniel "the Drive Buster"' one of the trying-est TEs in team history. Worked his butt off but the drops tried my patience. I do feel bad for his daughter.

I'm happy he's gone, whoever replaces him will be an improvement on the team.
Tebow needs a receiver and not his slow, drop prone ass. |

I don't really follow college enough but after Rudolph I hear DJ Williams mentioned. Of course we would then have to cut the other DJ. We can't have two players who share a first name with a fat white girl from the TV show Full House.

The fact all these FA te being snapped up shows that it is a value position. Not super expensive to keep the good ones, but actually driving many of the good offenses.
When you think about those all cylinder type offenses they almost always have a productive TE. |

Might be in draft, or a trade, or FA if one is left, but Broncos probably need 2 TE that they don't have on roster right now.
