washed up fellas- no knees left..... Heck, he didn't have knees when the bears took him at #14 7 years ago.....he was off of many teams draft boards because of his medical report.

Absolutely ****ing true...

Been there/done that... and not in a good way, either

Lets do this the right way this time. I think Fox knows this too, and will go about things the right way. Counting on it!

I think that Harris would attract some decent attention, which probably means someone will overpay for his services. Let's just draft Dareus or Fairley and start with a new set of knees.

Give me Marcell Dareus in the 1st and Phil Taylor in the 2nd and our DT woes are solved, IMO.

Phil Taylor didn't do great in the bench at the combine. Huge fatty/fail potential there.

I'd want to take a look at the right price - but I think he's more than likely done.

He did 31 reps. That isn't bad at all. Ran a 5.18 40. Vertical 34". At 334 lbs. He dominated the Senior Bowl. Good chance he goes in the 1st round, but I hope he is still there when our first 2nd round pick comes up

Taylor is going sneak into the late 1st because of the need of NTs. I like Taylor for awhile but I think he getting over drafted by to many folks right now.

31 reps aint great but it isnt horrible. Thats a pretty good combine for the big fella. if he can come into the leauge and get in the weight room so more it will be even better.

You guys should check out Muhammad Wilkerson. Mayock seems to be high on him and his highlight reel on youtube shows a pretty impressive motor for a defensive tackle. I think he would make a pretty good pick in the early 2nd.

i wonder if correlation for bench press and NFL success is zero, or just near zero.

It shows the effort they put into the gym. Think of it as a measuring stick they use to see how seriously he's committed to football and other more practical lifts.

I would take Harris for a year and Marvin Austin in the 2nd round please. That will give us a nice little rotation with Bannan and big boy Jamal Williams. What is going to happen to Ayers if we draft Bowers. Any chance he stays as an OLB? I guess the Giants approach has always been to have a bunch of depth on the DL. Maybe by taking Austin and Bowers we instantly get depth on the DL allowing guys to stay fresh throughout the game and actually make some plays in the 2nd half.
