He's been slow since 2007. Nolan did a fantastic job of limiting his exposure to passing downs, and more importantly, playing a deep half.

Plus Dawkins has been playing strong safety (closer to the line and covering TE/Backs) and OJ Atowge would be a free safety. So it would be Hill that's in trouble of being replaced.

As far as signing any free agents... I'll wait until the CBA is done to worry about that.

This would be a major signing if we can get it done. We have a ton of uncertainty at S and need a ballhawk like this guy. Plus, this is a really poor safety draft.

No. I meant they shopped him in 2008 and again in 2009 and even let him enter into the FA market in 2010.

I would love it if we snagged OJ Atogwe.

Dude has a nose for the ball and is only 29 years old.

Otogwe has 22 INTs and 16 forced fumbles in 6 years.

That is 38 turnovers in 6 years.....6.3 turnovers per year.
