Many union officials have ordered or approved of violent, coercive, and harassing conduct aimed at making an example of employees who don't toe the union line. The National Institute for Labor Relations Research has compiled a list of incidents of of union violence that average nearly 300 per year for the last 30 years. The following cases are just a few examples:

Do the math. Over a 36 year period, they've documented 8799 events of violence by union members that were related to labor issues. That's 244 per year or one every .66 days. Isolated? Mmm, not looking that way. |

Gee, this is the second thread EpicSpamSlinger has started to "catapult the propaganda" (read: spread the word re: the agent provocateurs the anti-democracy/pro-corporatocracy right historically plants at these rallies) for his billionaire masters.
Wonder if EpicSpamSlinger is getting a stipend from the Koch brothers? |

It's common knowledge that unions will use violence. Like that is news. They actually take pride in that fact.

No one had to "create a narrative" - the proof that tea baggers were crazy and violent was daily news. |

You come to this forum to try to create a narrative. Its all your strategists ever talk about. Generic liberal DNC schlub: "Oh no! there's a narrative that exists outside of our control! We better use the next tragedy to push our narrative!"

I will say though this right now is nothing. As long as no one is getting beaten or clubbed, sent to hospital, set on fire, dropped in the east river.
does ever city have an east river? well the should! This looks like just pushing and shoving. I think for how pissed both sides are the restraint has been pretty good. I mean cmon parking lot of a Bronco Charger game worst then this. |

Everything that's been said about the tea baggers has just been part of a made-up 'narrative.' That's the ticket. ![]() |

Two weeks of protests with hundreds of thousands of people coming through. No violence. Thuggery at it's best here in Madison.

Boredom, mostly. And it's not like he's going to leave if we ignore him.
