What are we going to get for him if he signs elsewhere as a FA?

I wasn't responding to your post, I was responding the people below you, but to your point, my guess is that they would have traded him had they gotten value.

If they are so easy to find why couldn't Mcdaniels find one?

Year 1, he had Harris in house and Harris deserved to play based on his prior season.

Year 2, he brings in Beatles and tries to trade Harris.....

Their source is Josina, I'll take it with a grain of salt at this point.

Its a dumbass move to trade a RT that we are most likely going to lose during a lost year?

We apparently have conflicting opinions on how to rebuild a team. I would think you rebuild by trading oft-injured, underachieving RTs for draft picks knowing it is one of the easier positions on the field to fill. Your plan is apparently to just do the exact opposite of anything McDaniels did regardless of the situation.

That doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. He did lead the worst ever season for this franchise. You don't do that by making smart decisions.

It's not like his injuries have been the severe kind and it's not like we haven't seen McD's brilliance shine thru

Yeah, the easy to get position thing is weird. You guys do realize that Tebow throws with his left hand, right? This just adds to the stupidity of that line of thinking.

Tebow wasn't playing when McDaniels was the coach

And who the hell was going to take Harris? He is injured every two games

So McDaniels didn't plan on ever starting a QB he took in the first? That is weird but also wouldn't surprise anyone.

Harris in rarely healthy and likely to continue to get worse as he ages. The problem isn't trading him, especially if you believe Beadles or whoever can play. The problem is he probably would have traded him to Belichick for Randy Moss or some other player who's done or can't play. Belichick would have managed to get our third round pick to "balance the trade."

You do realize that most teams line their best DE to rush Tebow's strong side right? The DE over RT is typically more of a run stopper (except in a few cases). The argument that for a Lefty QB you need to stack the RT is a joke. No team flips DE's against a lefty QB.
