Default OT: What happened here?

Poor woman was taken to hospital to check for stroke. Said she felt great the next day. We've all been hammered before--did anyone actually experience THIS kind of mish mash of words? Is there a doctor in the house?

I had that happen after soccer practice. I grabbed some water, my eyes got extremely light sensitive and I felt like I was going to throw up. My coach and a buddy of mine said I was talking but it was non-sensical. Ended up being a migraine. Was ****ing horrible.

I've at times suggested that uterine steal syndrome causes transient cerebral ischemia in the seated driving position. I have to come up with an analogy for "fluent aphasia" for women drivers.

Fluent/receptive aphasia (aka Wernicke's aphasia): fluent output but nonsensical - so I believe Dr. B's point is that it's not far off from the typical female language output under normal circumstances
Typically caused by damage to more posterior regions of the left temporal lobe - so can be seen with transient ischemic attacks involving the mca.

Nonfluent/expressive aphasia (Broca's aphasia): nonfluent effortful output, patients cannot produce speech effectively. Sounds like they're speaking telegraphically. Seen following damage to more anterior regions of the left hemisphere - typically left inferior frontal lobe (Broca's area).

I'd go with blond syndrome, TIA, or the Botox went in the wrong spot.

I heard on the light rail that she was fine, but was just trying to read the latest Josina tweet out loud.
