Not a big fan of reverse ordering movies, I like movies that progress a character not create a new younger one and squeeze him into a character already defined.

X-men 3 and Wolverine Origins, the last two films from the x-men franchise, were two of the worst comic book movies ever made. As a big fan of the actual comics, I doubt I will waste my time with this movie.

It's a great idea for a film--this relationship fits the screen better than a comic anyway--but it is not a great idea for a hollywood action film; further, there is zero reason to believe it will be done well given the crap this franchise has shoveled onto us of late.

I like movies where stuff blows up and girls take off their shirts. To each his own though...

I'll see it with great hopes and most likely itll fall far short of expectations like every X Men trash movie has so far.

Any word on the Deadpool solo movie project they inked Reynolds too?

No problem. This is one of the few comic book movies I actually want to see made. Because I know Reynold's legitimately cares about the source material and wants to do it the right way. It's the studio holding it back

I am the reason people hate movies. I want the good guys to win and everything to be wrapped up in tight ball by the end. If I wanted to think about crap I would go to the Orangemane.

MOVIE RULES!

You can't make a prequel to a movie that wasn't good, because no one cares about the back story. It just how it is and they need to stop putting a brand name to attract people to **** movies. Now just because that says X-Men in front of the title people are going to waste there money and time on ****.

Obviously people care. Why else would any x-men movie get made? The first X-Men flick was good because it kept things relatively simple. The issue with the third flick and then X-Men Origins is the writers, directors and the producers thought more mutants = a great flick. They thought they could throw in some random character (who is actually important to the x-men universe) and then they are gone and forgotten in the next scene.

If X-men: First Class follows that formula, the movie will be a bust. If they keep the story more or less about the friendship and deterioration of that friendship between Xavier and Magneto, it should be a good one.
