I so want this. I want to be just peddling along on I-25 passing cars like they are sitting still in rush hour.

That first video shows why people in cars tend to hate cyclers. So many of them believe that don't have to follow any "rules of the road" whatsoever. He's lucky that when he (blindly) flew through a crosswalk after going around the rear of that bus (once again, blindly) that the pedestrian was walking away from him.

Moral superiority? He's riding like a jackass. And "sharing the road" doesn't mean you get to have the right-of-way of a pedestrian while operating a motorized vehicle.

I smell dead people... People are too stupid to have these in American traffic. I am telling you, these things will get banned in California so quick your head will spin.

easily pedaling to a paltry 50mph would give me moral superiority.

If you saw that thing and didn't know what it was you'd be like "Was that Lance Armstrong that just passed us on a bike?"

Not exactly. First, they will tell us how eco friendly it is without telling us the cost isnt cheap. 2nd, they will tax the **** out of it including having it as a motorized vehicle therefore will have to get it registered at our increasing rates for the nation.
