I had better be good. At 7+ years in development, they've probably spent somewhere in the 50-100 million range on the game, when you include marketing and publishing.
They're taking a big risk, but Rockstar has shown the ability to take their basic model and push it in a new direction with great results. Red Dead Redemption expanded on and changed the GTA model to make it stylistically a western. I bet they have the same success here. |
