A few buddies of mine who are Steeler fans loathe Goodell and believe the man is personally trying to derail the Steelers franchise. Weird town, Pittsburgh. Very odd fanbase.

And spare me the "diehard" nonsense. They are about as diehard as Charger fans.

When Rapistburger does something stupid or Pittsburgh misses or gets bounced out of the playoffs, he is the worst quarterback ever. Steelers go to the superbowl and he is better than Elway, Montana or Young. Paranoia runs rampant in Pittsburgh. Goodell "planted" the assault victim in Georgia because he knew the Steelers were going to SB45...he fines Harrison because he knew the Steelers were going to SB45...

Who hates Hines Ward?!?!

I've never heard anything disparaging of him off the field, and the guy is a hard nosed worker with a genuine love for the game of football. It'd be like someone hating John Lynch, imo.

I'm kind of surprised you didn't pick the rapist first. Hines Ward was generally liked as a blue-collar player before the whole crack-back fiasco hit. I don't know anyone besides Steeler fans that has a positive opinion of Big Ben. He's a generally unlikable person.

Pittsburgh was just voted the #1 most livable city overall in the USA by Forbes magazine again. It leads in all catagories (ie. cost of living, unemployment rate, income growth, etc). Like slams against the city of Cleveland, when someone starts slamming the city of Pittsburgh, it's an instant tipoff that that person knows little to nothing about the city today.

That said, there's no debating the fact that the residents get very retarded over the Steelers and (recently) the Pens. Nothing else comes first there.

I really enjoy watching Rothlesbeger play. Particularly since I think alot of what he does we can hope to see from Tebow in the future.
