I only care about 4 things. Rape, molestation, murder, or arson. Anything else is just BS.

I wouldn't narrow it down that far , but I agree on premise...

We have to keep in mind they are human and sports stars , not priest / someone we hold to a high moral standards.... Not sure who fits into that category these days. I'd normal say Priest , teacher , police stuff like that but even they do stupid stuff so we have to remember that when sports stars have a bout with stupid and do something dumb.

DUI is sorta a no no with the other lives you put at risk so I'd add that one to said list and assault depending on the type.

I just watch to see if guys have a pattern when I judge if someone is good or bad... You make one maybe two stupid calls that only hurts you and learn from them and change I'll give you a pass on that , but not 5 or 10 times aka Pac Man...

Totally, agree. I don't think that's a narrow list. I not saying people should drive drunk. But poeple that just drive drunk and get caught. I really don't care about. People that drive drunk and kill or injure someone in an accident should be thrown in jail.

As for the list. Of course after they have gone through the court of law, not the court of public opinion.

What? You act like you've never taken a drink and drove home. You made it home. You had some good luck. Good for you. We all know we should never drive while drunk. But don't act all moralistic when one of these guys gets caught with a DUI.

let me ask you this: what is the difference between the person that drove home and killed someone and the person that drove home and got arrested? is there some amazing difference that makes one a bad person and one a good person? person A passes out at the wheel and ends up in a ditch: just a regular old dude having a good time! person B passes out at the wheel and ends up in in another car's windshield: terrible human being! some nice magic!

if people don't drink and drive people don't get killed by people that drink and drive.

That's not the argument. Both those people are stupid. Period. The only difference is one got caught in which people like you act indignant. That's not magic. Second, asking people to not drive drunk is like asking people not to have sex. You'll never control people like that.

and clearly one is not responsible for their actions when they knowingly engage in an activity that might later impair their abilities to make smart decisions.

this is why people become alcoholics

Pats only had 2 in the last 13 months and that included a mascot for prostitution. I wonder if he was in costume when he approached the ho. McD wanted to be so much like the Pats but we could only beat them in the Police Blotter. We had more arrest in the last few months as we did wins!

I have never operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. I have also never aimed a firearm at something I didn't intend to shoot, and with good reason. I have never killed an animal for sport, only for food or to destroy a hazardous pest. I have never taken anything that wasn't freely given, or earned in some way. I have never touched a woman, except to comfort or please, and only then when such contact was welcome. I have never harmed a child. I don't expect you to live by my standards, but I will judge you by what you do. I don't think that these things make me special or "moralistic". I think these things make me a man.
