Well, well, well...looks like someone chose Denver over Philadelphia. No one better tell that guy who says Denver *****ing sucks and has the worst dumba** fans in the entire ****ing country and the entire city is a damn laughingstock nationwide because Kobe called us idiots.
Man...it sucks to be Philadelphia http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...r-from-eagles/ 'We have to admit: We barely had heard of Dennis Allen before last week. He went from Saints secondary coach to the hottest coordinator candidate in the league within minutes, and now has settled in Denver as the defensive coordinator. In an effort to know a little more about Allen, we read profiles on Allen in the Denver Post and New Orleans Times-Picayune Wednesday, and couldn’t help but notice a trend. Both articles said Allen had a job offer from the Eagles, but chose the Broncos first. A report in the Philadelphia Daily News said at the time of Allen’s hire in Denver that the Eagles were never close to signing him. A similar report surfaced after Jim Mora withdrew his name in Philly, saying Mora was never a serious candidate. At this point, no one is sure what happens next in the Eagles defensive coordinator search. They aren’t interviewing candidates at the Senior Bowl because Andy Reid isn’t there. It’s looking more likely that they’ll wait to interview some possible coaches that are involved in the Super Bowl.' |

I don't know if I care, but I'm glad the Broncos do have a presence at the Senior Bowl practices! And, I'm hoping all of this is true, as I hope Allen is a top notch DC!

I'm guessing that he chose Denver because of knowing Fox from his Carolina days...

I personally think it's no coincidence that this was all announced after the Pack won the NFCCG. I think had they lost, Trgo... was going to be the man but they wanted the squad assembled and didn't want to wait the extra 2 weeks.
Hopefully he does good things in the future. He seems to be well thought of. |
