Moreno needs some help in the backfield. So who do we draft or trade for ?

I think the safest guess would be Deangelo

So a complimentary back to Morono or make him a complimentary back ? His ability to make the second level miss has been suspect at best. Course he rarely got to the second level.

I would like to see us add a big back like a Michael Bush, or draft a guy like Bradford from USC or Clay from Wisconsin. Don't want to use an early pick on a RB with all the defensive needs.

I can see Daniel Thomas being available with our second pick. He disappeared during the last half of the season, but he has the quickness and endurance to play on Sundays...

I think we would be able to keep Lendale as a power back, we need a guy who can take it the distance at any time and Devine would be that guy we could pick him up in the later rounds and I really see him excelling.

Lendale is a fat man coming off an achilles tear. Wouldn't count on him.

Another scat back? We have one now? Who would that be? Fact is we have almost no speed in the backfield, and this guy is an instant threat the defense has to pay attention to. If he hits the corner he could go the distance from anywhere. He might be small, but the kid carried the ball like a true bell cow runner and he's got the ability to be a Devin Hester type game breaker in the return game I think. He could be the perfect compliment to Moreno.

He's not going to last past the 3rd at best, and some scouts say he's going to go in the 2nd. If he were 10 pounds bigger he'd be a first round pick I think.

We need a back with speed, we have no one on this roster that can break a big gain at the second level. Moreno just doesn't have another gear.

I'm on the big back side of this too. But if they insist on a scat back, just grab Rodney Stewart from CU on the 2nd day or if he goes UDFA
