Oddly enough I want the Bears to win. But on the flip side I can't imagine the whole "Jay Cutler scandal" explosion if the Bears win a playoff game. So for the sake of not wanting to listen to all the b****ing if the Bears must win it better be from defense.

Edit: Has Jay won a playoff game before?

Well I've been wrong on all except Baltimore-KC and Baltimore-Pittsburgh. I'd say Chicago because Seattle does not play well on the road, although their one road win was against Cutler, uh er, I mean Chicago.

Chicago has been my second favorite team in the league, I've always enjoyed their defenses. And what happened between McD and Cutler has nothing to do with the way I feel about Cutler. I did not like the dude long before that. I saw his sully attitude, the way he threw his teammates under the bus after a loss without addressing what he did wrong. If he were to get to the NFCC game his ego may cause him to explode, not to mention the Mane.

you know...i wish Cutler good fortune today. Sure he's an emo-self-absorbed (kinda redundant) jackass, but he can make a run and win it all.

This should amount to a bye week for the Bears, but I have a feeling that Cutler will keep the Seahawks in it with at least one red zone turnover.

Chicago is the safe pick. Cutler hasn't been throwing much the past two months, but from what I've seen he and the receivers have been tearing up the blitzes teams have been trying to run against them.

Not to mention a solid defense, running game, and ST's.

I take the Bears all day long and I'm batting perfect so far this weekend. Seattle was nearly perfect last week so if they can do that again, they could pull the upset but their team isn't as good as they played last week.

Also, the reason Seattle won earlier in the year was it was during that period when the Chicago OL couldn't block anyone and, I believe, Seattle lost a couple of their big DL players a few weeks after that. Chicago has since fixed their protection issues as well. Just don't see it happening.

I hope the Bears are looking past Seattle to the Packers, but even then I still think that they win.

I think Bears win big over by the third......granted I want it to go the other way or for Cutler to suffer a Thiesman-esque injury either situation would be fun for me

Oh, and I forgot I saw that Pete Carroll is insisting on kicking to Hester today. That's never a good decision. I hope it's not Carroll's ego forcing him to do that.

Chicago has always been my NFC team as well - that is until pissy mcpouty pants arrived. Call me bitter but I just can't cheer for him, particularly since they don't really deserve to be here. It'd be one thing if legitimately kicked a$$ this year and didn't luck out week after week, then I could possibly stomach rooting for them.

Although cheering for that smarmball Carroll isn't exactly an easy pill to swallow either.

the refs probably got "that call" from the commish last night letting them know that the league would really, really, really like to see a Bears/Packers rematch in the NFCC game.

still, i'd love to see Frown Cannon throw 5 redzone INTs today and be run out of Chicago on a rail. it's only a matter of time until he's the starting QB for the Raiders... we all know that's his destiny.

That's some nasty looking weather for this game. New turf on the field, Siragusa was saying the ground crew was out putting green sand in the seams between the new and old turf.

Hard to bet against a team with the "us against the world mentality". I'll take Seattle but if Cutler has the kind of game he's capable of having it will be tough to beat him.
