Palin just doesn't get it. So, no need to say any thing. She will just discount herself out of the picture.

"Libel blood", indeed. There goes the Jewish vote.....

No, its "blood libel".

It sounds like the "jewish vote" is just fine:

"The term “blood libel” has taken on a broad metaphorical meaning in public discourse. Although its historical origins were in theologically based false accusations against the Jews and the Jewish People, its current usage is far broader. I myself have used it to describe false accusations against the State of Israel by the Goldstone Report. There is nothing improper and certainly nothing anti-Semitic in Sarah Palin using the term to characterize what she reasonably believes are false accusations that her words or images may have caused a mentally disturbed individual to kill and maim. The fact that two of the victims are Jewish is utterly irrelevant to the propriety of using this widely used term." - Alan Dershowitz

http://www.slate.com/blogs/blogs/wei...ood-libel.aspx

The most prominent Jewish defender in America defended Palin's use of the term.

So are you going to condemn the violent rhetoric against Palin, or do you just want to ban the "violent rhetoric" that suits you?

She was a victim, she didnt play a victim.

You must have forgot how the far-left wackos and their media alike immediately blamed the Arizona shooting on Palin before anyone knew what happened.

And you guys still cant see how absurd it is to blame such a thing on Palin.

Leave it to a desperate far-right spin jobber like McSpammer to try to flip the script and make Bible Spice the victim.

Funny stuff.

Boo hoo. That woman has been spewing vile crap for 2 years now. Rather than take the chance to call for unity, she starts fighting with the media.she's a joke, she will never be president with that attitude.and her boyfriend Beck quickly comes to her defense rather than denouncing his own fear mongering divisive bs

Sarah Palin has become a very important person in the United States. Important people have to speak with great care, because their words matter more than the words of other people. If they are careless, if they are sloppy, if they are lazy about finding the right tone and setting it and holding it, they will cease, after a time, to be important people, because without the discipline necessary to modulate their words, those words will lose their power to do anything but offer a momentary thrill — either pleasurable or infuriating. And then they will just pass on into the ether.

If she doesn’t serious herself up, Palin is on the direct path to irrelevancy. She won’t be the second Ronald Reagan; she’ll be the Republican incarnation of Jesse Jackson.

The fact that such a person could become an "important person" is a clear product of the times. These are not good times. Sara Palin is "all in" and not going quiet into the night any time soon.

Just when you think it can't get any worse it does.

Republicans don't like thinking people or statesmen - they prefer figureheads.

Modern succession:

Bonzo --> Faux Cowboy/Christian --> Bible Spice.

Never thought you'd pine for the days of Tricky Dick, eh?

Sarah Palin is a person that the left can use to strike fear into the hearts of their believers. "Sarah Palin's coming for us all! She's going to hunt us down like she hunts wolves!" Look at their Sarah Palin fear art. Its always a photoshopped crazy-looking image with her and guns or her and blood...or both.

for example:

Now we have new ones popping up in San Francisco just today:
http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/polit...113451129.html

She is a strong-willed woman who appeals to middle class women (threatens their hold on the soccer mom), a hunter (guns...big lefty no-no), and someone who energizes alot of conservative...so she must be isolated and attacked (Alinsky technique). I mean, you can really see through what theyre doing with Palin. They are so desperate to destroy her that they went all-in and now have doubled down with their attempt to associate her with the events in Arizona. Its no mistake that they're continuing with that storyline. Theyre trying to eliminate Sarah Palin right now, because they think that she'll beat them...there's no other reason as to why they would have risked everything in going full bore with this media onslaught even though it can come back and bite them in the butt if their base sees through it and sees that they lied.

The thing is she's not a hunter. And that's the problem with her. She claims to be a hunter in her fraudulent effort to craft an image of herself. But on that stupid reality TV show of hers they show her "hunting" with her father and there was an outcry among real hunters who were offended that she called herself a hunter because she clearly demonstrated that she didn't know what she was doing and she disrespected the sport. Just one more example of what a phony is, and how simpletons like you fall for it.

I could post dozens of articles on the subject but here are just a couple:

It’s a bad sign for civility when you can’t have a civil conversation about it.

In the days since a deranged assassin gunned down Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and 19 other innocents -- six of whom are now dead -- President Barack Obama, Speaker John Boehner and pundits from across the political spectrum have issued calls to raise the discourse and practice mutual respect.

Even Fox News President Roger Ailes, an architect of on- air, anger-based politics, directed his commentators to turn down the heat. What struck some liberals as a hollow gesture was the right gesture nonetheless, and credit goes to Ailes for making it.

An exception to the general comity was celebrity club fighter Sarah Palin, one Fox pundit who seems not to have gotten Ailes’ memo. Yesterday she raised the incivility a notch in a slickly produced video message that was primarily concerned not with the victims of the shooting but with the person who is in her eyes the constant victim: herself.

After the requisite expression of mourning and sorrow, Palin took after “journalists and pundits” who “should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn.” No viewer could have failed to understand who had been supposedly libeled.

Ponder the narcissism required for Palin to place herself at the center of the narrative, and with such incendiary language. “Blood libel” refers to a centuries-old calumny used to justify the savage persecution of Jews on the fictitious grounds that they murdered Christian children to use their blood in rituals.

Nobody has to do anything to Palin. Just give her enough rope and she'll hang herself. Even Crist has picked up on it. His advice to Sarah? Get out there and talk more. He wants to make sure she is sufficiently imploded before the primaries begin.
