Default Two Significant Anniversaries

Today marks the two anniversary's of significant events in Bronco History. One....."The Drive" that sent Elway his first and the Broncos to Super Bowl XXI. 24 years ago.

The second, and to Bronco fans almost more impactful, another conference title game, also on the road, where they beat the opposing team 24-21 to advance to SB XXXII. 13 years ago

Maybe they should pick a coach today. Seems to be a lucky one for the Broncos.

I hope they take their time and find the right person.

But I am happy to remember such games.

I still remember Romo hitting his head mocking Kordell Stewart for throwing those picks

Plus, it's 1/11/11. The stars could be aligned just right. Obviously, we'll have 11/11/11 later in the year, but we need a coach before the next football season actually begins. Yeah, I think today could be a good day...

I'll always remember the completion to Sharpe to seal the game for 18 yards. Then finding out later, that John told Shannon, to "Just get open"....He did with the smallest window & the Duke stuck that ball in his hands in only the way John Elway could. I knew in my heart or hearts that Green Bay was going down......waiting the two weeks seemed like forever, but man was the wait worth it.....God that was great!!!
