The Tim Tebow Effect-
1. Motivation is infectious. I don't care what any of the Mainstream Media Haters say. When the leader of the Team is Busting his Butt in the weight room everyone else goes harder. When the QB is putting shots on Defensive Backs going into the Endzone Everyone else plays Harder. Next Years Offensive line will hold their blocks longer just because they know that even if some one else gets beat their block can spring a run. The offseason work will be better just because the Linebackers are not going to let a QB out lift them. (My bet is this happens with or without a CBA-My bet is Tebow will reach out to leaders of the team for work outs even if the season looks like a long shot) 2. If we like we can have any OC in the league we want. While the Teabow may scare some HC's, and if it does they should never be one. It will dare OC's. A. If Teabow plays well they are an instant head coach. B. If Teabow fails it won't be their fault no loose situation. For the Haters. Elways Signature Play |

other fun things about Tebow:
1. more national coverage by media and talking heads 2. more nationally televised games (worth it alone for those of us living out of state) 3. more Monday night appearances and Sunday night appearances 4. Broncos immediately more relevant and more profitable due to jersey sales, merchandise, TV appearances. |

And let's not forget that any questions about his ability are strictly from people who hold a grudge against Tim for... some reason... and that they're trying to "undermine" him and his pro career. Because they hate him so much.

I clearly missed anything like that in this thread. Can you please highlight it for me so I can understand why you felt the need to make that post?

There are questions about any young QB. Constantly pointing them out about Tebow is glass half empty thinking, when Tebow is the ultimately glass half full QB. Elite athleticism coupled with unparalleled work ethic. His passing ability is no worse than most young QBs and if he develops in that area he's a game changer at QB like we haven't seen in Denver since Elway.

Oh, and the "haters" were mentioned in the OP. Don't get all butthurt, Rev. I like your boyfriend. I think he treats you real nice and I hope he addresses the problems with his game that could hinder him from being successful. I don't think that's a guarantee though. Nobody questions his "want to" or his intangibles.

I think Denver should seriously look at contraction, at this point.

We have ourselves talked into the place where some have said they would not trade Tebow straight up for Luck another poster said he would not take 2 firsts and 2 seconds for tebow. This place will be interesting after the first bad game by TT. |

Tim Tebow is a winner and a leader. I hope he can make the correct decisions on the field throwing the ball to make those other qualities shine. Because even two years of 12 TD, 20 INTs, 2,900 yards isn't going to get it done...unless Denver reaches the playoffs, somehow.

You think that will take three years? Ha he'll get the same treatment as McD by game ten next season if he does not look Elwayesque. Hell you get snappy at the mention of it.

If anyone is going to use the "haters" as motivation to win and succeed, it's Tim Tebow. I don't think he'll be anywhere near what I wrote previously in year two, but he might do that next year, and he'll find a way to will the team to a few victories, if not more. It's year two as a full starter where he needs to really succeed, imo. |

Tebow is an excellent face for the league too. A couple of seasons producing and Bowlen can get on the phone with Goodell for rules changes a la Jim Irsay and Bob Kraft. Who better than Tebow to roll out to remind folks the NFL is just a bunch of good guys the next time Ray Lewis stabs somebody? Nobody that's who.
