i hear ya, but its not exactly the Oakland Raiders with Al Davis dictating and coaches fighting and 7 straight years of losing record...

before last season this is our 1st losing record in like ten years...

We have the #2 overall pick, and two 2nds...and arguably the best college football player in history ready to grow with our franchise...

i could think of worse situations....

I think Harbaugh wanted no part of anything pro to be honest, I think this was all a ploy to get more jack from Stanford

Elway saying on his radio show now that he thinks Harbaugh will stick with college (between Stanford and Michigan). Elway says the broncos won't compete with the colleges for harbaugh. Harbaugh knows if Jim wants to consider the NFL the Broncos are interested.

I hear ya, and I hope I end up being very wrong about this. But the main thing most of us have been clamoring for since McDaniels was fired was for the Broncos to first and foremost to bring in a GM. Instead they bring in Elway, who said he isn't GM material and doesn't want to be a GM, to run the football operations. I said from the get go that this would mean no real GM would be brought in, and of course that turned out to be exactly the case. Maybe Xanders will surprise and do a great job. You can keep blaming McDaniels, that's the easy thing to do. Unfortunately it shows that you don't have a clue. McDaniels is no longer here so that's not what will concern coaching candidates. What will potentially concern them is our front office organization.
