Okay, here I am...the Monday Morning GM to solve all of the Broncos' problems. Are you listening, Xanders? Good. Here we go.

This, after all, is the first offseason post-Watermock. If this offseason had a branding, we could officially call it The Watermock Denver Broncos Offseason. So, in honor of our fallen brother, we offer forth a trade that satisfies both of his interests. The vaunted Hornheads and the Broncos converge in a wood, taking the only road to travel.

The Hornheads have talent all over the place. Their cup runneth over. Except for at quarterback, where the Legendary Boyish Drug-Addicted Crying Penis Picture Hookup Hero has left behind him an 1864 Atlanta. With the old sprite on his way to the television studio (as if we havent had enough already), the Vikes need a calming and steady veteran to fill the void. Sidney Rice is going to need balls in his hands on the football field in the national football league where football players make football plays with the football. Adrian Peterson will need a buddy to make sure that opposing defenses dont put 11 players in the box anymore. That buddy is Kyle Orton. Orton can dink and dunk his way to respectability in purple...even though our masculine culture frowns on men wearing purple.

Denver trades Kyle Orton and a second round pick for Kevin Williams and the Vikes' second round pick.

I thought this trade would involve Tim Tebow and the #2 pick for Andrew Luck.

I am truly shocked it was not.

well sidney rice is a free agent and would be surprised if he resigned....and no way kevin williams gets traded...they already are losing ray edwards, and pat williams will prolly retire and is ancient. If we did trade him there i would like to see us pickup a quality o lineman or a LB....p.s. chad greenway is a FA too

Don't know about that particular trade but the Vikes would do well to acquire Orton, it would be a great fit.

If the Broncos' FO focus on adding some real solid vets to the defense, particularly on the D-line, linebacker, and safety...this team could surprise some people next year.

There's alot of young talent waiting to step up. A monster defense would allow that type of young offense to develop over the year while still winning games. Its what the Ravens and Steelers have done. Its what the Pats did with Brady.

The Vikings have something like 16 free agents, most of whom are decent players. It's hard to imagine they'll sign them just to trade them away.

Well, he left us Tebow too. Unfortunately he left us Quinn as well, but I'll take 2 out of 3.

Kevin Williams is one of the premier DT in the NFL. You expect him to fit into a 3-4 how?

Orton and a second for Williams and a second is not fair value. Not at all.

This conversation could get a lot more interesting if McD lands an OC job somewhere. If he passes on Orton, it might be hard to unload him for very much value.
