Since the Broncos have multiple needs, I'd like to see them trade out of the 2nd spot in the draft. I think you could drop 3 or 4 picks, get an additional 2nd rounder, and use one of the their (then) three 2nd round picks to get Gabbert. I think the kid has demonstrated that he has an NFL arm, and a number of NFL skills already. Since Orton leaving seems to be a fait accompli, and Quinn doesn't bring much to the table, Gabbert would be better competition for Tebow than any of the usual suspects floating about the league.

Gabbert is going to be a major bust in the NFL.

Let's put it this way. If that happens, I will probably turn emo and start cutting myself.

Tebow is here...accept it. NO to wasting a precious #2 on a QB. Terrible idea.

Yeah I agree that it would be a waste to use a pick on QB without at least attempting to develop Tebow. The one down side to sucking at everything is we can improve at everything. The offense is probably the least gimpy and QB is the position of least need.
You know, Tebow really energizes the team. Seeing him bring teams back is the first time I've had hope we can come back when we're down in a long time. Let him play for '11. If he sucks the fans will understand that we at least tried and we can use picks on other areas of the team that need help. |

Tom Brady wouldn't win games with our worthless defense. We need to give our QB a chance to win and thats done with defense nomatter who's throwing the ball.

I've seen Gabbert play a lot and he's like a poor man's Jake Locker.

Excellent plan. Can we spend the rest of our high picks on receivers in case D. Thomas and Decker don't work out?
