Last week he took at least one late hit. This week he takes a direct shot to the helmet. On neither play was a penalty called. Apparently, if you're big, and a rookie, you cannot be roughed.
If only he would legally change his name to manning-brady, we would march down the field with one ticky-tack roughing penalty after another... |

Ha ha...he popped right up after what looked like a helmet to helmet hit to me. He's a tough sucker.

I think most roughing the passer calls are BS. QB are football players too.

I remember Plummer being able to convince the refs to call penalties on "love taps". That was great...

Honest question: What would happen if the helment-to-helmet hit, late hit out of bounds, and the last minute shenanigans happened to Tom Brady?

thankfully he also cannot be sacked, dude was an animal getting away from defenders. He was wearing out the D-line in the 4th quarter like brusing RB's. Your right though, would be nice to get some of those calls. Hopefully next year when he's the talk of the league he'll get the calls like those other Qb's.

It was the long scramble that got me. He's headed out of bounds, takes a shot and no flag at all.

His composure after this was amazing though, he instantly got up, called for everyone to get back together and get the next play going. He's not ever going to be one to cost us personal fouls. Shows he can keep his head where he needs it to be under pressure too.

This year the refs aren't calling as many penalties for the guys they view as younger, tougher studs (or felons) as they are for the stars. Eagles complain that hits on Vick haven't been called when they should have.

I liked the fact that he kept his composure and focus after all these hits.

Speaking of which. Is it illegal to attempt to slide tackle a player like Kaeding did on the kickoff return?

Helmet to helmet hit, late hit out of bounds, the shenanigans with applewhite, holding on that long SD punt return, the offsetting personal fouls on 57 and Harris (57 throws a punch right in front of the ref and the jackhole does not throw a flag?) the "illegal" shift on 4th down going from 4th and 1 to 4th and 5, or originally spotting it 4th and 1, going to commercial and coming back and its 4th and 2...
The officiating the last month have completely sucked balls. I get it. Denver is 4-12 so they get the F team refs and the Z team announcers...but give me a ****ing break. A rule is a rule, it does not only apply for the top 16 teams in the league. That pissed me off more than anything else... Complete fail, refs. Make it consistent or amend the rules completely. ![]() |

I have watched alot of football this season. If any other team has more than 2 offensive PI called on them, it would shock the **** out of me. This has been an odd, ridiculous season. In fact, this is the first time in a long time I have looked forward to the offseason mode just to have some normal **** to talk about. ![]() |

The Seattle game was among the worst I've ever seen. They couldn't get basic game procedure down right.

I think Tebow actually forgave the a-holes after they hit him. So the refs didn't throw a flag.

When Tebow hits the ground, the ground gets hurt.
