Default Official O-Mane Brandon Lloyd appreciation thread

Searched and couldn't find/couldn't remember any official appreciation threads for Brandon Lloyd so..... here it is. If we already have a thread, let me know and i'll delete this.

1 more game to go.

He really stepped his game up this year and was a lot of fun to watch in an otherwise crappy season. Great season Brandon, thanks

Been on his bandwagon since last year when I said he'd be a poor man's Randy Moss for us this season. Glad to finally see him shine.

I hope he can keep it together, attitude-wise. He's had a spotty past. He's due a big salary bump. Tricky situation, but I can't see how we let him walk... or ask him to play for peanuts again. Dude is a crucial element to our offense, now.

Best hand-eye coordination i've seen since Cris Carter, and that includes Randy Moss.

Carter in my opinion is the all time best 'hand or hands' pass catcher the NFL has ever seen.

Lloyd shows that type of ability and has since he came into the league.

And i'm talking about on a consistent basis with the great catches. Sure there are plenty of 'wow nice catch' plays out there but those players aren't able to do that on a regular basis. Lloyd is on another level when the ball is in the air.

I'm in a fantasy league where we did our draft in August. Brandon Lloyd was the very last player selected in a 14 team, 26 round draft (the 364th player). He ended up scoring more points in the league's scoring system than the first pick in the draft, Chris Johnson!

If Bey Bey develops next year we're going to have quiet a 1-2 punch on the outside, not to mention Royal and Decker working the slot. If we can add a legit pass catching TE somehow, this offense will be set with weapons in the passing game.

Great, year, I'll eat crow on this I thought the guy sucked but...

Got to get ride of the rows, it aint 2005 anymore. He looks more feminine than Carmelo with those.

What is his contract situation? Agree that he should be a priority to bring back.

I was looking for Lloyds contract info to answer Jesterhole's question and found this:

"It was a season long on confrontations but short on results. He signed a six-year, $30 million contract with nearly $12 million guaranteed in April 2006, but his Redskins debut was, at least statistically -- and compounded by free agent expectations -- one of the worst seasons in the history of the NFL. "

This guy really found a way to turn his career, if not his entire life, around. He should give motivational talks to each class of incoming, hell and current, WR's.

Human highlight film.

He's good for around 100 yards and a couple jaw-dropping catches every time he goes out.

He made us all forget Brandon Marshall.

Lloyd did it for me . Every thing I saw go wrong with this season. He's one of the few that neednt hang his head in shame.
Im posting this while my band is standing behind me whaling at me to come play.
But I had to say it.
Happy new year everyone.

dunno, first chance lloyd has, he acts like a total idiot. there was a reason all those teams let you go. how about "i appreciate the chance the broncos gave me and im sorry we didnt win more game with all my guady stats"
Lesse, the team our old idiot WR plays for has 7 wins. the team (our seemingly new idiot) WR plays for has 4 wins.

With him, Royal and Decker, or WR group could be league-best.

Hmm...Lloyd?
Somehow, for some reason, I'm not that all sold out on the guy.
I'd wait one more year and under a different "OC/System" before I'm convinced...

Lloyd has been excellent in every regard this season. He has been a tremendous safety valve AND big play guy, which is special. His play last week where he jumped up over the defender's head and caught the ball at his highest point for Tim exemplified what he's done all year.

However, he's been around, and until this year, had wanted to prove to everyone, himself included probably, that he could do it. So who knows how he holds up mentally if he gets paid? What happens next year when DT starts catching some of his balls?
