"I don't really trash talk. I might throw in a 'God Bless' every now and then" Love it. Way to let your play do the talking.

Lots of game questions, then stuff about saying God bless you instead of trash talking, how he admitted the fault on the INT was his, how he likes stopping to give something to a kid in the stands to make his Christmas...it was him being him...he's like listening to a kid playing for the love of the game not a paycheck. It was very cool.

I've been a long time lurker on this site, but I have rarely felt the need to post until today.

I can't say enough with how much I am impressed with Tebow - and NOT necessarily because of his play on the field today.

I have NEVER seen a young player control an interview with as much poise, professionalism and respect for the media as Tebow did in this post-game presser. The media clearly loves being around the guy - even moreso than any of the other supposed "media-friendly" NFL types (Rex Ryan, Andy Reid, Peyton, etc).

Sure, someone could say it's easy to be poised and professional after a win. Well to be honest, I actually think its pretty hard to come across as genuinely humble after a win in today's NFL - but Tebow's interview shows nothing but humility mixed with professional confidence.

And to top it off, he seemed so relaxed and comfortable - like he's been conducting these interviews for years. The media tried to bait him with the typical "do you think you deserve to start next week?" question. He didn't bite - instead, he just said he sticks to things he can control, his effort, his attitude, and his focus.

Not living in Denver, I don't have alot of access to the local media interviews. But color me seriously impressed with the way this guy handles himself with the Denver media.

I wonder what goes through an opponents mind getting a response like that in the middle of a violent game where intimidation is the rule of the day. You use your best angry face, snarl up some especially insulting thing to say to the other team's QB and he gives you "God bless you".

In my book...that's actually a pretty cool psych job in and of itself.

It has to piss the opponent off after his says something like that and then scores the game winning TD.

Maybe he really is god!

You could tell Cushing (the douchebag, cheating, juicer that he is) was trying to get in Tebow's head. After that one big hit he just stared at Tebow and instead of getting back in Cushing's face he just bounced up and headed back to the huddle.

Gotta love it cause that, more than any trash talk, pisses off people the most.

My gaydar went off the charts when Tebow walked out wearing that silly hat and said 'Good evening.'

p.s. I think Tim Tebow is an amazing player and a great guy. I truly hope he's our starting QB next year.

Makes me . He is seriously just a genuine guy. My boss lives right down the street from his old HS. I knew a lot about Tebow before he was drafted... But I was still impressed to hear Some of the things he had to say about Tebow. The main thing was, the guy is such a good person it will take people a long time to realize just how good he is. Said people will doubt him just out of disbelief that anyone could be such a down to earth person that truly is living for a greater purpose.

I also still get chills anytime I hear the press conf he gave after Florida lost the game to Miss his Jr. Season. The dude will grow on even those that at first doubt him!

Probably something like this that down right confuses them. What are they supposed to think? See 30 second link for scary similarities with Tebow.

That's what Terrell Davis used to do also. Guys were always trying to talk trash to him after a tackle, but Davis would just walk back to the huddle staying focused. I liked how his teammates (Graham and Harris) went to Cushing to let him know there could be repercussions after that one play where Cushing tried to rip Tebow's helmet off when he was already down.

Ha. Its like my girlfriend says about getting the bird in traffic. If you smile and wave at the person who gives you the bird, it leaves their road rage unrequited and pretty much kills it right there.

Dude's wired completely different. Granted, the whole tone of a presser after a win is light and airy, but this guy just exudes honesty and integrity. Dude sure as hell ain't gonna toss his guys under the bus. Now if Mr. Bowlen would pay Steve Young to work with him for the entire offseason, he could make a huge leap in the upcoming season.

I kind of thought Cushing would take an extra dose of roids before playing against Tebow. He probably knew he needed it and it still failed. That guy really is Lattimer from The Program.
