Some interesting rumors floating around. The first is that a NFL Network personality has expressed some interest in a GM role, and will be meeting with management later this week.
Also have heard that Tebow got more snaps - primarily at Quinn's expense - not Ortons, this week in practice. |

Was that GM thing specific to us, or just a GM position in general?

Michael Lombardi? He had some interesting things to say on the Vic and Gary radio show about his time here in Denver in 2007. He told Shanny that our depth was awful and that the team was awful. He said that is probably why he was no longer in Denver as well

It's either Lombardi or Casserly, right? I mean are there any other GMs on NFLN?

Isn't Tebow the #2 at this point? Why would the snaps thing be news?

They have typically run a three way rotation with Orton getting most of the snaps on one side, Tebow and Quinn rotating on the 2nd and 3rd string. From what I was told, that's no longer the case. Tebow and Orton are rotating, with only mental snaps left for number 3.

Ha Ha, was thinking the same thing about Matt Millen..........Definitley a loser for a GM w/ his whole debacle in Detroit. I've always thought a lot of Casserly, He would be a good choice. I don't have the same confidence in Lombardi although the trophy bearing his name has my interest.

Casserly, Kirwan, or Lombardi......Kirwan hasn't been bashing Denver as much as other guys lately...

There's also Mariucci who has experience in that realm, sorta. Oh, and Alex Flanagan..

This would be cool, if it has legs.

Lombardi did mention in that interview that he would be at the Chiefs game this weekend...
