With veterans Brian Dawkins, 37, and Andre Goodman, 32, sidelined with injuries, the Broncos will be forced to activate five players who are 24 years old or younger in Sunday's game at Kansas City, including four rookies.

Well at least the young guys are getting some valuable experience that will help us next year

At this point I would like to see Squid get snaps over Cox. I still think Cox will be a decent player but it Squid has shown some flashes and we need to get him some snaps as well. Other than our front 7 our Defense is pretty solid except for the secondary! Lol!

it may be rough but it's a necessary step for both filling spots and getting the guys experience for the next season (whenever that is)

Squid is an inside DB, he doesn't have the quickness needed for the outside or on an island. Cox is doing well as expected for a 1st year DB.

No, Phonso Smith sux. Dude cannot make the transition from college to the NFL. Cox is just facing a steep learning curve but has shown he can at least compete out there. Jury's still out on him, though.

Obligatory: A pass rush would make him look much better.

So much for running the table, from here on out...lol. I'm glad the young guys are getting some experience. If Orton wasn't having a solid year, I would be in favor of putting in the Gator rook. Orton and Lloyd have a lot of chemistry goin' on. I hate to ruin that...

Well, good thing the Chiefs don't exactly air it out...this allows young guys to get some experience and still doesn't prevent us from winning! Win, win!!
