Default So we fire McDaniels and bring in a new head coach. Whos going to be our starting QB

I know everyone wants McD gone besides a few (I say give him one more year, injuries dragged us down especially on defense Doom is a huge key to our success everyone knows it)

but lets say he does get fired

Who is the QB?

Orton. He has to learn a brand new offense, as do the WRs lets face it Orton strives in McDaniel's system because its McDaniel's system and thats what its designed to do make QBs and WRs look good

Tebow. Hes sitting there busting his ass learning McDaniels offense studying each game talking to Orton talking to McDaniels talking to other vets on the offense, and you wanna hire a new coach and throw him into the fire with a new offense? That be like him starting as a rookie this year and everyone was against that idea.

You want to hire a new coach and draft a QB? I know the draft has 2 talented prospects but lets face it we have issues on the d-line and secondary and this draft is probably the best draft in awhile for what we need so we have to draft mainly defense.

I hear people saying just focus on the run game and let Orton or Tebow manage the game, well hate to break it to you but we don't have the kind of defense to play like that and probably won't for awhile.

face it we fire McDaniels than we have to not only worry about the defense but the offense will be an issue as well.

We keep McDaniels we can start Orton and Tebow and produce on offense its pretty obvious we can, if McDaniels and the DC (wink or wade whoever) can invest heavily in the draft and quality young FAs on defense and grab more speed on offense a change of pace back would be nice I think that would be our best bet.

Yeah the problem with McDaniels is his ego. He has a huge ego that no coach who is any good will work with him (ie like Mike Nolan and Jeremy Bates). Also, he doesn't like superstars because you they take all the light away from him.

what has Bates done besides the first 5 games of the 08 season?

It all depends on who the HC would be.... I think if it was Gruden, they'd keep Orton and build up his trade value, and then move to Tebow or whoever.

same thing could of been said when Shanahan was fired. Most coaches can get one part right. At this point i feel I'd like to see it be Defense.

and the starting QB will be whoever wins the job.

That's bull****..Doom was there last year too and we won only 2 games out of last 10.
Everyone figured Josh play calling after the bye week..and he didn't adjust after that.
I want Bowlen to hire Jim Harbaugh. Hopefully, he will draft Luck.
I don't think Tebow is the answer..

Urban Meyer couldn't handle the pressure last year.He almost quit due to health reasons.
I don't think he will come to NFL.

Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow, back together again. The LULZ would be off the chart.

You ready for the real reason we suck

NO PASS RUSH. WE HAVE 16 SACKS ALL SEASON!! DOOM HAD MORE THAN THAT ALONE LAST SEASON. our 2 best pass rushers out. Last years sack leader Elvis Dumervil out for the year and Robert Ayers has been hurt most of the season, don't matter how good your secondary is. You have no pass rush you will suck in this league period. + add that were 30th in stopping the run.

Yet you wanna fire the guy who has 2 journeyman players leading the Passing and Rec stat categories

that makes no sense.

give McD another year to focus on the defense because he has his offense in gear.

What did Ayers did..Please tell me..He played like **** last game.
I don't think we will be competitive even if we had Doom.
He played last year too..Basically, his sacks went down after the bye week last year.

Also, our offense sucks..Orton is showing nice stats..but, our entire offense make mistakes during crunch time.
Mcd play calling sucks..He abandons the running game and likes to keep throwing the ball all the time.It doesn't work like that.

He is finished..He is done..Get over with it..We will have a new coach.

Right, which is why he drafted one of the most popular sports figures walking the planet right now...

Makes sense.

I'm starting to think Tim Tebow is bigger house hold name then Tiger Woods or Jordan.

Lebron James
Tim Tebow
Tiger Woods
Michael Jordan

EDIT:

Lebron James
Tiger Woods
Tim Tebow
Michael Jordan

I agree that our biggest weakness is our pass rush. But, I can't give McD any slack because of that. He had all offseason to work on the defense...and this is the best he could do...hiring some bum ex-Pat and then cutting him...and then pulling guys off the scrap heap...like Vickerson? Yeah, I wonder why we suck.
