Not much different. Seems to me the most remarkable thing about Hillis is not how many yards he gets but more how he gets them. IE- He is a white man running over people. That is why the OM loves him.

Well just by eye balling the comparison, Harrison's achieved 2/3 of his yards production during the last three games of the season (1/3 in just one game!) against poor opponents while Hillis has been more consistent throughout the year when given the ball against better quality opponents. Hillis has had great games against BAL, NE, and the NYJ for example.

Is rooting for a white RB any different then rooting for a black QB, Chinese basketball center, Asian boxer, Vietnamese linebacker, or jewish pitcher.

yes, it's racist.

rooting for the others just shows you to be an enlightened liberal residing at the top of an ivory tower, where you share your days with puppies and unicorns.

seriously though, i've never heard anyone say they liked Hillis BECAUSE he's white. we liked him because he ran people over while playing old school smashmouth football.

that, and he's the last Broncos to give the Mile High Salute.

if Knowshon Moreno would start running over people instead of tap dancing in the backfield, he'd win over alot of Broncos fans as well. he's done better the past 2 games, but he needs to do it week in and week out.

I just think people on this thread are bitter because we really haven't had a good RB since Portis and we finally get one and McDummy trades him. Also, I think the fact that they haven't had a good white RB in the league since Mike Alstott has a little something to do with it. I mean it's human nature to be bias. You really can't be mad. I root for black Qb's and coaches, also Ben Jarvis Green Ellis and James Hall (who went to my high school).

For now on I only cheer for the black players. There just isn't enough of them in the NFL.

All right stop, collaborate and listen
Hillis is back with his intention
Someone grabs a hold of him tightly
Knocks 'em down daily and nightly
Will it ever stop yo I don't know
Turn off the lights and watch the Hillis show

I will always love him for that one play...I think it was against Tampa Bay.

4th and 3, game on the line. Cutler hands to Hillis....

HILLIS GETS HIT FIVE YARDS IN THE BACKFIELD, RUNS THE GUY OVER, GETS DOGPILED BY EIGHT THOUSAND MORE DEFENDERS AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE, AND CARRIES THEM ALL PAST THE FIRST DOWN MARKER.

Broncos end up winning. That was a good play.

People were talking about Jerome Harrison last year too

Broncos fans weren't, because why the hell would a Broncos fan care about a random Cleveland Browns player? This year's random Cleveland Browns player happens to be an ex-Bronco, and he happens to be succeeding where our guys are not.

Stupid thread is stupid.

Now seriously, I'm not the biggest Hillis fan - and this thread is a bit ridiculous.

But I just thought of something - what are the biggest selling Jersey's? What is the ratio between white/black players and jersey sales? Not to beat this silly debate to a pulp - but I do remember someone like Waybe Chrebet had the highest selling jersey for a few years. So were all white people buying it cheering for the great white hope, or were they cheering for the underdog?

So we meet again. Do we turn this thread into a battle ground of near naked flesh, battling until the trumpets sound on judgement day?

On a side note, Hillis has big thighs. Lots of power. Just saying.

Tebow has big thighs too...idea...
