Default Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

I wont be here tomorrow or really the rest of the week so I wanted to take this opportunity to say Happy Thanksgiving to all.

If you are traveling be safe. If you are staying home, be thankful, while our football team may not be very good, the Jayhawk men's basketball team looks to be quite formidable this year

IN all seriousness, I hope everyone has a good holiday and eats to their heart's content.

We're having something a little different this year for Thanksgiving. Instead of a turkey, we're having a swan. You get more stuffing.

Jon Stewart
I celebrated Thanksgiving in an old-fashioned way. I invited everyone in my neighborhood to my house, we had an enormous feast, and then I killed them and took their land.

Johnny Carson
Thanksgiving is an emotional holiday. People travel thousands of miles to be with people they only see once a year. And then discover once a year is way too often.

Ditto here. Everyone be safe and thankfull for all you have (family, friends, health and freedom) and with that in mind be thankful for those who are serving in the military and don't have the luxury of being at home with their families during the holidays.

"I hate turkeys. If you stand in the meat section at the grocery store long enough, you start to get mad at turkeys. There's turkey ham, turkey bologna, turkey pastrami. Some one needs to tell the turkey, 'man, just be yourself.' "

Mitch Hedberg

"I love Thanksgiving turkey... It's the only time in Los Angeles that you see natural breasts."

Arnold Schwarzenegger

"Dear Lord, I've been asked, nay commanded, to thank Thee for the Christmas turkey before us... a turkey which was no doubt a lively, intelligent bird... a social being... capable of actual affection... nuzzling its young with almost human-like compassion. Anyway, it's dead and we're gonna eat it."

Tomorrow is about all you are grateful to have: health, family, freedom, etc. It's my favorite holiday (despite the less-than-stellar NFL choices...)

Everyone have a good one! Find something to be thankful for. Me, the Broncos got destroyed, but Mike Tolbert's on my fantasy team.

This is 100x more funny if you read it in the Mitch Hedberg voice.

Hedberg when talking about commercial free radio: "if I don't hear the commercials, how I will know what to buy?..."

Go Lions! Also, "America, -ck yeah!"

couple of my faves:

"On a stop light green means go and yellow means slow down, but on a banana it's just the opposite. Green means 'hold on,' yellow means 'go ahead,' and red means, 'where the f### did you get that banana at?'"

"I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it."

"Whenever I go to shave, I assume there's someone else on the planet shaving, so I say, 'I'm gonna go shave, too.'"

A turkey is more occult and awful than all the angels and archangels. In so far as God has partly revealed to us an angelic world, he has partly told us what an angel means. But God has never told us what a turkey means. And if you go and stare at a live turkey for an hour or two, you will find by the end of it that the enigma has rather increased than diminished.--G.K. Chesterton

Chesterton is awesome. A dude that has stimulated C.S. Lewis' mind has done something impressive.
