So who ya got your child support payments on this week?

I've already gotten on:

Indy/Philly O 46 1/2
SD/Hou over 50 1/2 (made this before I knew Gates was out)
Carolina/NO under 41
and my slightly smaller bet is NE/Cleveland U 43 1/2

There's some props on Bodog today that look interesting if I didn't mind having my money tied up forever. They're offering:

+175 that Children will not be the coach in Minny next year (he may not be in 2 weeks!)

+175 that Del Rio will be the coach in Jax next year (they're quietly putting together a respectable season, no reason for him to be fired)

+135 that Mcnabb will not be a Skin next year (probably will but with the drama and his contract running out, why would he resign with them?)

More on the Chargers:

The Chargers signed veteran wideout Kelley Washington to bolster their badly depleted wideout corps.

Consider that their No. 2 receiver this week, Seyi Ajirotutu, was on the practice squad not so long ago. No. 3 is Gary Banks, another practice squader. They are without Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee, who hope to return after the bye. Buster Davis is out for the year.

Antonio Gates' status is also up in the air. Gates tweeted Thursday that he's "not sure if I'm playing or not taking it one day at a time."

I'd pick up Patrick Crayton in fantasy, too. Antonio Gates' plantar fascia exploded last week, so outside of Crayton the Chargers have two practice squad guys to throw to.

I read the other day that the Giants have knocked out like 5 starting QBs this year already. With an already struggling OL, one has to wonder who is on the list behind Whitehurst. That game really could get ugly.

And I think I'm gonna buy out of that SD game before the line moves. The only question is do I tease it a few points to try and middle? I really do agree the point totals fall so I don't think buying a few points would hurt as the U has to be the play here. Any ideas?

OK, so I bought out of the SD game and also added enough to cover the juice. If it goes under, I'm happy and if it goes over, I'm out double juice. So be it. There's a point at which the Chargers just can't replace WRs.

I got on the NYG game when Hasselback was confirmed out. Bring on Whitehurst and that shamble of a line and they could really be trying to find someone to play QB by the end of the game. I really hope I get to watch that one. I might even double my bet but -7 is a large number.

I also got on the Lions and the U. I'm regretting the play already but it's a strong "it could happen" thing in me and that + a few beers made me click it. Life'll go on. Lions definitely could pull the upset though.

Thoughts?

Nice pick on the Colts. Buffalo has been playing good teams really tough. The line is +2.5 on a lot of the services including mine. I might just go for +130. Ryan Fitzpatrick can move the ball. I'm becoming a fan.

I think this is the week for Buff. If I knew them well enough to know they would exploit that Bears OL like everyone has for weeks, I'd have gotten on that wagon as well. I just know they're in defensive transition so you just don't know what to expect.

Gut tells me Buff though.

Wow. I think that tells you the state of the AFC-W. They say the home field gives 3 points, I believe, so that means on a totally neutral field KC should win by 1.

Again, I won't ever bet against Denver but that seems like a game Denver shouldn't win.

$50 for Missouri/The other team to go over 13 1/2 in the first quarter and $50 for Missouri to win the quarter.

I have no idea if it's a silly bet. 50/50 odds, I guess. Just bored tonight and the kid's watching Toy Story 3.

Lost on that garbage time Memphis TD, Lost stupidly taking Mizzou again for the 2nd half when their QB was sucking, but won on KST/Texas over 21 and KST+4.

I've got quite a few out as usual but the only one I can watch is the Balt game. I took over 3 1/2 FGs combined. They got 3 and have now botched one snap and missed another two. If this one sinks, I won't be able to do anything but shake my head.

Got it. Props are only half the size of my game bets but, man, when one starts to look like it could fail when it shouldn't, it's easy to get nervous. 6 minutes left and they came up about 2 feet short of a first down so I got it.

Now to start stressing the others... as if that helps any.

Well, I guess we can call that Seattle game ugly. I went NYG first half and game and currently happy I did.

Now watch them pull a CU and lose since I'm talking...
