Default The Good News!

The good news is we can talk about top ten draft picks and actually have a shot at them!

We've traded winning consistently with a near .600 winning percentage along with playing for AFC West championships every year to battling the Raiders for the AFC West basement and competing top 5 draft picks. FUN!

If McD can do this in just a year and a half, I wonder what it will be like after year 3?!

Which glamor position on offense should we spend it on?

I don't have confidence in Mcd..We might trade our 1st round pick for blocking TE or for a CB.

I'm thinking another QB to add to the mystique. I'm thinking an all QB pro set.

Do you trust these knuckleheads with a top 5 pick?

I don't!

You already saw what they did with a 12 pick.

I can not remember when the team last picked in the top ten, and maybe the top five.

Mike Croel was 10, I think?

#10 in 2000 was traded down to Baltimore for #15. (O'Neal)

91', Mike Croel? We selected Deltha O'Neal after the 99' campaign when we went 6-10 if I recall correctly but I think there were a bunch of terrible teams that year and that team had tremendous injuries w/ TD, Elway's retirement, breaking in a near rookie QB with Brian Griese to deal with.

With as much help as we need on the DL and how many great juniors and seniors there are, it would almost be impossible to **** up a top selection. Really. They would have to try their hardest.

I can live with a high draft pick if either the following happens:

1. We get an impact front 7 player
2. We trade back and acquire more picks to rebuild the front 7

You mean like a wishbone with QBs in the backfield. I'm suprise we haven't run something like that with Orton, Tebow, and The Nut Grabber.

Preach it Ray Finkle!

We honestly need pass rush more than anything IMO. We will get Ayers and Elvis back but we need more. I would actually love a trade back to get a couple 1sts and another 2nd and get an ILB, and 2 dline
