I do not need to look.

I suggest you scroll down to my thread THE DEATH OF THE LIBERAL CLASS. Watch the video by Chris Hedges. He is articulating what many of us are feeling.

No question, liberals have sold us out. I began complaining about this way back in the early 1970s during the anti Viet Nam War protests.

Nothing has changed. Things have only gotten worse.

BTW I am not on the right. I'm on the left (with Jesus, the original radical.)

That is a funny quote though. We are going to have to live with less!!! If we ever go socialist it would be funny to watch all the rich liberals have all there stuff taken.

Jesus on the right? Is this why the early Christians took a vow of poverty? And why they shared possessions? And called themselves "the poor?" Because they were rightards?

No -- they were the first Commies.

Check the epistles of Paul for the scriptural evidence.

Dude, you're nuts, ok.

Jesus would never advocate taking from others to give to those who do not wish to work for what they have.

I'm not saying Jesus is right or left, just saying calling him a commie or socialist is ridiculous and shows your lack of understanding of the scriptures.

Jesus was against tax collectors though and John the Baptist said this:

Tax collectors also came to be baptized. "Teacher," they asked, "what should we do?"

"Don't collect any more than you are required to," he told them.

These mouth breathers should go back and watch last night's 60 Minutes segment on Newton, Iowa. It's about a town in America being dismantled by this recession. And the reporter tries to tell these people that according to economists, the recession ended in June of last year. TJ should go there and tell them how they should be able to pull themselves out of this mess by hard work and determination after their Maytag factory moved to Mexico. Policy doesn't matter if you're a real go-getter. Go tell it to these people.
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/...n6999868.shtml

And then at the end, you should contemplate that the stock market is doing fine, and hedge fund managers on Wall Street just announced they have made a new $14 billion that they get to split up amongst themselves. Like the small business owner Newton, Iowa says, the banks are ready to lend when you don't need it, but when you do, don't come around bothering them.

Welcome to the new America, suckers.

The rich liberals especially like to go around telling people to live with less, while they have so much and can afford to give up some of their toys, if they even do that.

And you guys continue to slurp up the elitist line against the people, the Tea Party.

There are reasons why neither the repubs or the dems want them in positions of power in this country...because they run on a platform of loyalty to American citizens FIRST.

You guys should really start putting in with the people and leave that old rickety democratic party mess behind. Theyre no different from the repubs.

No - you just continue to slurp up the "tea party is a genuine grass roots movement" Kool-Aid.

I'm looking forward to having a good laugh when the tea party dumps you at the altar - just like the Kennebunkport Cowboy did.

Well whats your excuse? You've been kissing the democratic parties ass for your entire life, and you've gotten the same results. Now that your party is going down the ****ter, you sound like all the Bush-bots that were on this board in 06. If anyone is slurping kool-aid here it's you LA.

Bad analogy.

The Democratic Party isn't pretending to be some sort of grassroots movement.
