Default Week 8 Gambling

So, I figured I'd get an early jump on it since someone had mentioned the 9er line yesterday.

What are ya looking at, where's the winners this week?

At first glance, overs in KC and Cinci look intriguing along with an under in Indy. Indy missing half their starting O and we all saw Houston loved running on them last game and their O isn't clicking quite like it could. That under is a risky play though as either Houston or Indy are capable of putting 40 on ya if they come out hot. 49 to two not-quite-right Os is very tempting though.

Still intrigued to see the Denver line. I think the team bounces back and I could see a verrrrry skewed line after SF was favored on the road this week and the pile of fecal matter the Broncos fielded. Could we see SF as solid favorites?

I forgot Alex Smith went down. David Carr could be taking the reigns next week. That's surely why they haven't posted the line yet for me.

Wow, Indy game is up to an O/U 50. Line started at 49 and I thought it was too high. Both teams seem to be stumbling offensively.

Opinions?

I didnt really know how I felt about this team until I turned down a bet from a girl at work who wanted SF to win against us.

I wasn't making a prediction on the game though....Just that it wouldn't open at SF -3. (With the QB situation). Sharps would've hammered Denver +3 if that was the open.

Denver opened at -1 and it's been bet across 0 to SF -1.5

Staying far, far away from this game betting wise.

Titans look tempting at 3.5 but I'm not sure I want to bet against the Chuggers at home in back to back weeks. I've only glanced at the card and it looks pretty ****ty. I'll probably stick to totals this week.

I'm on totals as well. I ended up going with a gut move on the Indy under. While either team could put up 35 alone, either team could also put up 17.

I'm on Indy/Hou U 50, Tenn/SD over 44, KC/Buff over 46 (thought the line reflects that being the popular play), and Pitt/NO being over 44 as I think NO could wake up after that beatdown. I bet everything single and as a 2,3,4 round robin. We shall see.

Oh, and I'm staying away from Denver but this is the first game, possibly this season, that I've thought Denver could just walk away with this.

Remember, it's Wembley stadium and they've been known for a field not conducive to keeping your footing. I like a passing team when folks start slipping and falling.

As usual, lots of goes in play to get money down today. Too much to even list. Only props this week are longest FG over 43 1/2 yds and longest TD under 40 for Broncos game.

I made 1 play today, it was St. Louis -3. Won that. Thought the line was a little low, personally. I know STL isn't a great team, but they've played pretty well this year, Bradford appears to be legit, they were at home, and Carolina sucks something fierce.

I got killed in the early games. Took some overs after last week's overs hitting and a lot of parlays and teasers and it gets sunk off the bat with that KC game. Line was 46 1/2 and they got 20 in regulation... doh!

Doubled (or tripled, morelike) on the SD/Tenn game over 44-46ish. We'll see if I have an account at the end of the night. It was one of my more confident plays this weekend so I'm hopin'.

Whew, losses reclaimed again. Early 4th QTR and I'm at 50+ already. Just wish I'd put more on it as I was considering it but then they took it down. Oh well, can't complain about a VERY good win.

Did you buy it up to this or was that the only line offered? And if you did move it to 43, any reason?
