Default Shanahans v. Mellonheads

Indy up 17-7. The Shanny offense looks just like the Shanny offense.

On the same vane Cutler continues to get killed behind that Bears line. Sacked 5 times today.

Torain scores a power run on 4th and 1 from the goal line to bring the Skins to 17-14. Kory Lichtensteiger paved the way.

What? No lamentations that we let the great Ryan Torrain go?

He is a STUD!

Feels weird watching the past 15 years of Broncos football being played in a different jersey.

Totally.

And seeing McNabb run all the same plays that Plummer ran as well. Its weird.

When you have a o-line that runs ZBS, a coaching staff that knows it and implements it, a head coach that cares about running the ball, then Torian is a stud.

In our system, he would be struggling at 2 YPA.

Its not like Denver just cut or traded Torain. He suffered another injury and they reached a settlement with him.

Maybe they should have kept him but you have to pick and choose what you do. The thing I see is he took that time off and got healthy and looks bigger and faster. Even if he really isn't bigger he just is playing that way.

Good for him!

Well, he's not incorrect in his assumption. Shanny's track record with the ZBS is outstanding.

Whether or not this version of the Denver Broncos can consistently run the ball is still a question.

In a game thread about a Shanahan team and one most of us hate, it is likely that comparisons are going to be made to the current team. You are instigating and then complaining about it...

How is that different then anything done by any other poster in any other thread?

Or is highlighting this board's tendency to lionize former Broncos who did very little for Denver or do not fit the new system a bad thing?

Or should I add McDickless or McD-Bag to the end of all my posts to make it ok?

Washington was clearly unprepared for this game.

Shanny needs to get his **** together against the Colts.

UN-PRE-PARED.

His nick name was sledge hammer. A five year old playing against 6,7 and 8 years olds and he's called Sledge Hammer. That says something!
