For the past month or so, while my computer is on, I'll be surfing or whatever.... after about 10 minutes BAM, my speakers start playing a news broadcast and advertisements. I cant find what is running this or how to get it to stop. My only solution that works is turning the volume down on the speakers so I dont hear it. Thats obviously only a bandaid cause the broadcast is still going, I just cant hear it.
Any advice on how to find the cause of the problem or how to get it to stop? I'm guessing its maybe a virus? Thanks in advance |

I would thing cables, shielding the cables might help.
Here's a lengthy discussion on my tech board: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/53...ignal-speakers |

It is a virus or a trojan horse. Something like that.
AVG, Spybot Search and Destroy and Trojan Remover are three software titles for free you can Google and download. It cleared out my problems. I'd also download Piriform's CCLeaner as well. Godspeed, bungadungo. |
