Has anyone tried one of these? They look disgusting, and they don't have them in Europe.

It's McDonald's. I won't eat it.
However, in my younger, fatter days, I did eat them every time they came back. They weren't great, and I'd much much rather have a non-pressed meat product BBQ sandwich, but... for a fat college kid, a McRib seemed like a great idea.

I remember they came out with those in Los Angeles during the 1984 Olympics. Never tried one, never will.

The McRib was a frequent thread joke on the Mane during the early years.

Chiefs Planet will have a 30 page thread on this, fast food is their religion. The ones that have jobs will probably be taking the week off just to accomodate all the trips to the drive through.

I saw an ugly green early '70's (I would say 1974ish) Camero in the parking lot the other day and I was going to ask if they were Chef fans.

Amazing.
First a 1-4 chance to win in Monopoly...now the McRibb. God might be a red-headed clown in a yellow jumper. |

i saw a link, im not sure if it was here or somewhere else, that shows how a lot of these patties are made. they like pressure wash the leftover meat and tendons from animals and basically turns it into a toothpaste type thing, which gets put with a binding agent and turned into "meat"
disgusting. |

Adopt-a-Bronco: All of them. |
Pass on the McRibb. I gave up chicken nuggets because they look like the afterbirth of a litter of fairies when they are first processed. I gave up soda because the corn syrup is processed where mercury can be added while it is being refined. I gave up smoking because of carcinogens.
But if someone tries to take my ****ing beer I will drop them where they stand. ![]() |
