Default Gambling for week 6

An early start on betting for next week. Anyone getting money down yet? As my saga with Betphoenix continues, I have 4 grand more to play through them before I can get my money out. Either I sink or swim but it'll happen eventually. I may actually start putting my account on the line every weekend but if I get a horrible week like week 4 was, I could be done even quicker than I'd like.

Anyways, on to the picks. Input is appreciated as I'm not too proud to buy out of a pick. It's just a matter of getting money down.

Colts -3 (-122) 1 unit
Chiefs +5 (-110) 1 unit
Ravens +2 1/2 (-110) 1 unit
Raiders +6 (-110) 1 unit
Parlay - Colts-3, Chiefs + 4 1/2, Raiders +7 (a little over +600) .75 unit

Oh, and I think on that Ravens game, the wrong team is favored. I think Pats lose that one outright. Might put some on that ML.

Contemplating taking the Steelers.

3rd string Colt McCoy starting? Yes please.

Problem is, -14 spread. Even now I hate spreads that big. But I may have to do it.

Agreed. 14 point spread is keeping me away too. Probably safe but I hate being in a position where I need more points and the team is content to ice the game.

I would personally estimate that to be like a 60-70% chance of winning bet though. Especially if Ben is firing as he was in pre-season, he may have something to prove.

Look... i know we are all bronco fans here and i know it's "wrong" to bet against your team but Jets -3? Jets -3? Really? We are missing a ton of players, can't run the ball, can't stop the run. If not for the injuries we'd have a shot but this is going to be a bad bad week for us, why not make some money to ease the pain? i'm throwing my account at this one and if i lose i won't even care.

I was just checking the lines today and I saw the Jets minus 3.

Something is fishy that line seems WAY off.

Holy crap I wish I could book the OM.

Given Denver's injuries, I have upped the Jets chances of winning this game to 33%.

Do you people seriously not understand how the NFL works? Teams rarely go OTR after MNF and win. Is Denver a lock? Of course not but all things being equal they win this game 2 out of every 3 times in this scenario.

Now's your chance, how much would you be willing to wager?

up to 500.

You can have the Jets -3 -115 or ML -170.

Then put me down for Jets -3, $115, assuming a Jets win by 3 is a push.

The defense of the line I've seen centers around the Jets coming off MNF and apparently they didn't travel well last year. That said, the same thing that kept me off the Ravens game will do so this week unless they offer the 75 yards rushing prop again. I might take that though I usually wouldn't.

Revis possibly not playing could have an effect too though I'd say Bronco injuries are more significant.

I don't like a lot of the props for the early games... so far I'm on A. Johnson scores a TD +145

Is there a prop bet on a nip slip in the Seattle Mist v San Diego Seduction Lingerie Football game?

Wow, Ravens, way to blow that game.

I don't care about a team losing but I hate watching football where a team plays it so safe that they lose the game. I can count on one hand, I think, the number of plays from mid-4th quarter through OT that wasn't a checkdown to Rice. They deserved that loss. I had Ravens +2 1/2 and they lost by 3... poo.

Cheifs was the exact opposite though, I had +4 1/2 and they lost by 4. Them's the bounces.
