Default OT , little help please from military guys and gals... I need a set of Army dress greens ...

Mod I know it's on season mode but I figured someone here would have to know this ... The Mane is basically the only forum I post on and even for non broncos stuff I'm always sure someone here knows , be it pc help or anything ...

But Mods you can move this after it's been seen for a few mins if you want I just needed a quick answer...

My Mom and Dad are renewing their vows for their 50th anniversary , and my father is looking for a pair of dress army greens so he could wear the same thing as he wore when they first married ....

He ask me to look online and whatnot but I'm sorta stumped where to even start besides just googling army greens and cincinnati ...

I figured someone here would know how to go about this the correct way and maybe order them from a surplus store or directly from the army ... I have no idea tho ...

Little help ...

Check your inbox. I have a uniform that is still in good shape, other wise second hand stores near army bases would be good places to check.

What sizes?
Jacket-Chest and Length (44Regular for instance)?
Trousers-Waist and Length (36Short for instance)?
Neck size?
Sleeve Length?
Shoe size?

Ask him when you have a moment.

Try any dry cleaners near Army bases as well. Especially the large bases with combat troups. They usually have dozens, if not hundereds of them in all sizes and can be a whole lot cheaper than the surplus stores or the consignment shops. Buddy of mine got a set of USMC Dress Blues that way back in the day and saved a boatload of cash.

The BX/PX on any Army base will have everything. Any Army bases within driving distance?

if you can't find it in Cinci, ft knox is right down the road. it's 3 hours from me to you so it'd be a decent road trip but you can check the surplus stores in the area and likely get something decent. since greens are out and blues are coming in, you may run into issues getting them new these days.

also, let me know the sizes in question as well as i sure as hell aint putting that uniform back on.

Why, just go to your nearest AAFES.

Some of them are actually off-base, too.

BTW, they change the Uniforms.... if you could go retro and get a uniform that looks just like when they got married, that would be a plus... try and Army-Navy store.

I just checked, I'm still eligible to shop at AFFES as per my inactive reserve status. PM me the size and info, and I'll PM you the price and we can work something out.
