Marshall is a beast in any system tho, Lloyd may just be a beast in McDaniels system.

but I think thats the beauty of the Marshall trade, we just didn't need to focus on one guy, we have to spread the ball around for the offense to tick, McDaniels offense is great now that we are finally seeing it work.

Orton is a good QB and we have good WRs
but the reason you see us #1 in the passing category in the NFL is because of McDaniel's offense, designed to get WRs open and we are seeing it big time, Orton is the perfect QB for it and I think down the line Tebow will easily fit in it too.

McDaniels gets a lot of hate for some of his moves but people need to realize hes building a team, not something thats going to settle for less than 8-8 every year like half the mediocre teams in the NFL.

Mmm...tell that to the 2007 Patriots with Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

Marshall is a monster. He's an amazing player. He's YAC ability won two games for us in Dallas and New England. Assuming we make a killer 2nd round defensive pick with what we get from Miami next year, the trade will have been worth it.

I'm fine with our current WR core though. Wish we got more out of Miami.

Lloyd is surprisingly spry and athletic, he is a decent #2 or #3 in this league.

Marshall is a dominant player, and will be for the next 6-7 years.

So what's your point? Right now Lloyd is the better WR at least for Denver.

Crow all you want about Bradon Marshll and the like, win some damn games. Isn't that what McDaniels promised when he came here? Wins and red zone scores? Looks like he is a liar so far.

Marshall was one of if not our top Red Zone scoring targets last year.

Brandon Marshall said himself...

ever since he was in peewee football anytime he had a huge/great game, his team would lose and it's carried all the way from high school to college and through to the NFL.

Looks like that hasn't changed.

She's right. So far this year Lloyd has played better. Made terrific plays in all three games. I watched every Dolphins game this year and Marshall had some bad drops. He's still a beast, no doubt... and will probably end up having a better season than Lloyd, but not so far. (and no, I'm not saying Lloyd is a better WR)

BM had a great Sunday night game and only main thing I care about is that Miami loses to help our draft pick. Great thing is we havent missed a beat with him gone and probably saved some cash. We have less headaches and might have Thomas as the guy to fill his spot in the endzone.

Whats funny is he only had 124 yards in two games with no touchdowns before he faced the likes of Antonio Chromartie.

The depth at WR is unreal! We are set for years to come. Defensive backs is another area we are stacked at. Now if they would only use the same theory on Defensive Linemen, runningbacks, and Linebackers. Well maybe next year if we have any draft picks by then.?

Lloyd has speed. No way Marshall can run the post route like Lloyd can. Marshall is a possession WR. Josh should go for the post more often to loosen the D up, especially early in the game.

I found it very interesting that Marshall had his career high TD catches his first year with McD as his OC/HC.

I think he just knew he had to get it in or we would fail on goal line runs. I still am to this day unsure if we will get it in when we are within 3 yards of the endzone. McDaniels is unimaginitive when it comes to plays in that area.
