Three would be easy.. two, not so much.

I said running the ball and special teams, with rushing the QB a very close third.

pressure on qb and rushing the ball without a doubt. We would be 2-1 with Elvis and Ayers doin there thing. We need to find another guy to get pressure. Last year we had vonnie holliday and darrell reid geting pressure on 3rd down in addition to Elvis. We need that guy again this season. We need to run the ball better in the red zone to be a factor in the AFCWest

Run D was nice this week. Pass-rush wasn't horrible, but could be better.

We definitely have to figure out how to open up some running lanes on offense.

Passing Game (Strength of the team at this point)
Rushing Game (Terrible)
Special Teams (Poor kick coverage, but kicking and returning have been okay aside from Cox muff)
Defense against the Run (Looked pretty good Sunday. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke.)
Defense against the Pass (Woes largely due to Pass Rush, but still have to place some blame on the secondary, especially for the Austin Collie massacre.)
Getting Pressure on the Quarterback (oh Elvis)

In a sense, yes. When you vote for it alone, and nothing else, you skew the numbers in a way that is in effect voting for the Rushing Game twice.

Rushing yards/a = 2.5.
Last in the league.

Rushing game and special teams.

If the team could get a lead early and maintain it some of the problems listed could take care of themselves.

Two big returns by Eddie called back for holding and a fumbled return by Cox diddn't help us out. But I guess if we can't score in the red zone it doesn't really matter.

1 - Running game
2 - Coaching - when a team is having these problems playing the game, it is always poor coaching. I say this even though I really like McD, and have high hopes for his eventual success.

Don't normally like gimmicks, but how about our own "Refrigerator Perry" clone (except no one on our team is 380 pounds). Find a lineman (offensive or defensive) who can line up in the backfield (and avoid fumbling) to get those 1,2 or 3 yard 4th downs at least.

There is certainly no running back now who can power in when needed.

I agree with both of your points to some extent.

As for the coaching, we have a guy who is learning on the job. He is obviously an excellent QB coach. However, we have yet to see proficiency anywhere else. His play-calling has been predictable.

Doesn't "biggest" imply only one choice? The poll is flawed!

For me its simple, special teams is obvious. You need to play well in 3 phases and every week special teams has in some way let us down. Rushing the passer is obvious but getting Dumerville back and putting a young stud in next years draft on the line will really move us forward.

I said pressure on the QB and running game...but, I'd put Redzone Scoring somewhere equally as important. I'm also hoping the run defense wasn't a one game wonder.

redzone offense is the 2nd obvious choice (run game #1)...

lousy run game is partly why our redzone offense sucks...so if i had to vote twice, put me down for twice for run game...
